Im gunna do mazda BPT 4cyl dohc turbo motor from a mx5/miata. Its been done a couple times. And ive built a BPT before so I have the knowledge already.

heart is set on an escort, im just trying to choose what motor setup. and im considering all options, registered would be fantastic!

unsure what I want to do with it, I only mentioned v8's in them because weight was mentioned. from what ive seen, (eyeballin it) the engine bay looks long in the escorts, but I havent measured up yet, what is the length of the barra? from memory, in an escort 3.5L is maximum engine capaciy for rego. but that has probably changed since I last checked... and I kinda want it to be unique.

Nice, what kinda car us that? I've seen 5L V8's into these escorts. So I'm hoping the 4L would be easier. There where no rear end weight issuses with a guy I spoke to that did a Cleveland v8 into one. Just thinking out loud.

And if I have money, I need to know whats needed for a conversion?

hi guys, im new here, so if ive posted in the wrong section or something feel free to move it to the right section. Now, I want to buy a ford escort, (as above) and im now considering doing a barra turbo conversion (because of all the good reveiws and youtube vids ive seen and the massive power figures ive see people reaching with these wonderful motors.), and was wondering on a checklist of sorts of things id need. obviously engine, gearbox. what else is needed for a barra engine to run in another car? full details please...
