When buying insurance for my FG XR6T, I looked at who would be likely to repair the car and what panel beaters thoughts were about dealing with an insurance company. The trades people I spoke to said that RACV, NRMA and the relevant IAG companies were just painful to deal with and customers had to complain to get accident damage repaired. We went to Alliance eventually because tradespeople said they approve, repair and have no hastles dealing with the company. Considering I'm buying a service that I hope to never use, I decided to get the best service should I need that service. Price really was reasonable as well considering.
