  1. It has obviously been tuned previously (8psi tune, 10psi tune) and I've only boosted it once since putting the exhaust on (might hit 1-3 psi every now and then) and I watched the boost gauge, only got to around 10psi? I was expecting an a spike, but nope? It will be getting tuned, just wanted to see if throwing the sensor back in would help at all.
  2. After installing an xforce exhaust, and removing the sensor behind the cat (AFM?) my engine light is on. I expected it, however just want to know whether it will go away if I get a bung put in the exhaust and reinstall the sensor. I would just get a tune, however I need to upgrade to an SCT x3 from my series 1.. which is going to take me a little time. Thoughts?
  3. Yeah, would be Clappo I'm pretty sure. Clappo's dyno used to be near his place, then he moved it to his new shop in Paget.
  4. True... he tuned my old BA, but I dont know that he would remember that... Will need to have a talk to him anyway sooner or later. Know if he can still tune gay series 1 flash boxes? He still using Clappo's dyno? I have heard good and bad things from Clappo, but he's about the only one I've ever been near that I would hand my keys to. Anyone have oppinions of the one on Archibald St... Dyno... Something?
  5. So who in Mackay is good to go to for things like valve springs & porting mod? I'm about to start doing some things to my BF, and I've been out of the game a while. I'll be getting Dave to tune it if possible, so just after the harder mechanical issues.
  6. 1. N13 Nissan Pulsar (Beige) .... how I miss that indestructible car. 2. Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-t (Maroon...) 3. 2004 BA Falcon XR6 Turbo - Mercury Silver 4. 2013 Ford Fiesta 5. Nissan Silvia S13.4A (S14A Front, S13 rear) 6. 2003 Expensive Daewoo Late model camira SV8 - Current 7. Nissan 180sx 8. 2006 Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo BF (White) - Current and a work ute... but that isn't mine.
  7. The QLD mining industry currently... well, overall the economic conditions continually hating on the QLD mining industry. Also.. working for a living, just saying.
  8. I know I've done two throttle body to crossover couplings, underneath.. have a look at that, but it usually drops boost too.
  9. Well I'll be pulling the dump off tomorrow to check the wastegate, and be checking the cat.... I'm really hoping its the cat
  10. Well I looped the vac line from compressor housing to actuator, still no boost. So tomorrow I will change out the actuator for my 12psi one, and check the cat... hopefully one of those things fixes the problems
  11. Going to loop the boost solenoid vac line to the actuator tomorrow, see if I can pin point whether the solenoid / actuator is buggered.
  12. Yeah in my old BA I split that crossover joiner, doesn't seem to be leaking, cant hear anything coming from it. The car has a CAPA tuner box and a typhoon intercooler, I believe that is about the extent of the mods. Could a clogged cat be the cause?
  13. Hello all, So I used to own a BA XR6T, and have recently purchased a BF XR6T. After having it for a few days I have noticed that it is really down on power, so I threw a cheap boost gauge in it to see what it was doing and.. Boost gauge only reads 0-2psi giving it the beans. Vac line for gauge is going directly to manifold where bov line was (bov removed). I've checked all the cooler pipes, gave the boost solenoid a quick clean and had a quick look at the compressor wheel... and I cant find anything wrong. Anything else I should check before shelling out for a tuner to have a look??
