    Fg Ute Axle Tramp

It could go lower from what I was told, but I was happy with the user friendly ride height rear has a height of 370mm hub to guard. I have a 3 inch x-force system and it already scrapped at factory height. It does look a fraction lower I gave a +0 -10mm for the height. There is more noise from the suspension but well worth it just for the launch, control and saving axles lol.

Ride is firm at slow speed ie speed humps not much give, at speed feels a lot more stable with more control and very minimal role coming from the rear end. All in very happy will give it a week see how it settles in, the. Of to the creek and see how it goes in the quarter now, I couldn't get a good start just got a lot of tramp.

    Fg Ute Axle Tramp

I have just got my ute back today after getting my rear end done, I have had one axle fixed and the other replaced after it wasn't just bent but the spline had about a 4mm twist in it, I was getting a lot of axle tramp. I got into a decent conversation with the owner of this company and had told him I wasn't keen on caltracs or the malwood tramp rods so what was suggested to get the leafs custom, thus I now have a 10mm main instead of factory 8, additional rebound leaf, heavy duty clamps 2 either side, solid mounting of the diff, nolathane bushes and bilstein (revalved). I have been able to put the foot down in first and second and now the ute just gets the power down, no tramp it's not wanting to step out just all Go And a big smile.
