  1. Not quite sure on that mate. Its pretty heavy on the rear been a steel tray. Seen plenty of ford tonners smashing high power with rear leaf ends... trays.. "stainless mobile on here been for one".... How much would your rear style side weigh compare to my 550kg rear tray?
  2. Hey guys, I came here for some help. I know This is a ford forum but im stumpt for answers., I have a VY one tonner v8 holden. So its got a steel tray on the rear... Been the tonner model running 16x8 alloys with some 235/60/16 kuhmo k31s on all four.... At the moment its got full stock suspension. LEAF SPRING REARS. ... I was under the impression that I was the only one out there including some older fords etc having leaf springs. (I NEVER CARRY LOADS) UNTIL.. someone told me all those high powered turbo'd ford utes have leaf spring rears and reguluary smash the track days :o.... No one can help me on the Late model camira forum, there strictly biased to sell it and get a 4link propper ss. But I now have a real soft spot for my one tonner. and also been told that there was only 500 in australia with a ls1 powered motor. To put it simple. Ive been really iffy about my 5 year old pride and joy! but It scares me, It handles like a DOG. Not to mention in the wet running brand new tyres. Its outputting roughly 220rkw and its enough for me powerwise... High speeds on the highway which im reguluary travelling, It wobbles at high speeds.. I can litterally feel the car swaying and it can be quite scary at times... Even driving through the national park I drive like a grandma, It just cant do it, loves to sway and loose it all the time. I have no IDEA where to start and what to do regarding it. So Im kindly asking if anyone could help me out I also feel like it drives like a real heavy truck... ? Steering is very heavy , unresponsive. I seen a few videos of xr6 turbo utes 300RKW+ easily taking corners... in the national parks . amazing. big respect guys! Cheers! Brad
