The XR6 Non-Turbo also gets the grab handles. The Turbo gets rear windows and Traction Control over the Non-Turbo. Does LSD come with Traction Control?

Thanks for the great info.. Have you got any more info on the wiring of the relay? That is a great idea wiring them to the highbeam. Was there much difference between the fog and driving light inserts with light spread and output etc? This is the link for the hella catalogue.

I've noticed the BA windscreen constantly fogs up, drives me crazy!

I think it is actually the thermo-syphon system that Ford have on the XR6t's, ie. water continues to flow past the turbo after shut down. At least this is what was written in Wheels/Motor, maybe Harasn can confirm?

What's the answer to all these cracked fog lights? I was putting off getting some of that 3M stick-on stuff, now I think I will get it ASAP. Do we have a definate Hella stock number to get the lens with? I know it was mentioned in another post about saving money and buying a lens from Autobarn but the actual part number wasn't mentioned......

Thanks Harasn, I removed the shields today, IMO it's looks far better without them, glad I removed them. I think it may be placebo effect but I think the car has less road noise without them!!! Now to get some new DBA rotors to really finish off the car, anyone know the cheapest place to pick some up from in Melbourne?

I tend to think the SP3000 is a bit noisy on the road. May just be that I'm not used to the BA road noise but on some road surfaces the tyres a very noisy.

dbasteve, What's your opinion on the removal of the black metal dust covers behind the wheels on BA XR's? Do they cause more heat?

It's the Subaru Legacy (Liberty) GT, as shown in this month's Wheels Mag on Pages 54-58. It looks like being a top car: 191kW from a 2.0 litre engine, five speed auto trans and costing about $57k.

I agree, it appears Ford has discontinued the 18 inch wheel option. It is not listed for any of the XR's (6, T or ..... Strange.....

How many of you have removed the black brake dust covers behind the wheels? Does it look better without them? Do you notice much more dust without them? I'm thinking of removing mine this afternoon.

These are the wheels, they look a bit like Futura rims to me! Don't do much for me.

Mines just got the creaking noise, you guys have jinxed me again.... First the coolant leak now the steering rack creak! I think I have to stop reading the forum......

Show him the Wheels comparo that was carried out November last year between: S Supercharged V's XR6, SS V's XR6 Turbo, Calais V8 V's Fairmont Ghia, and Executive V's XT. Ford won EVERY comparison. This may get him rethinking his decision. This article still makes me feel all warm inside when I read it.

Noticed a big difference this morning after polishing the car yesterday. After last nights rain the car was covered in rain (of course), but it was beading like it never has before. As soon as the car was at about 60 km/h the water all dispersed off the car, it never used to do that. I'm very happy with the Wet-Look now.
