I had the shims and new improved rotor machine done today... Only time will tell if this is actually a "fix" though!

Both are always fully up. I even double checked this..... At my 15,000kms service today I showed this to them and they are going to replace the panels, obviously the new ones will wear too. I guess I will have to keep replacing them until the warrenty runs out!

Has anyone else noticed that the plastic near where the seatbelt retracts from the pillar is wearing on the front edges? Both of my front seatbelts are rubbing on the plastic and causing it to wear away....... Can't be good for the belt as well as the plastic is looking a bit average. Both wife and I are 6 foot tall, maybe this will only effect the taller drivers?

Have you got measurements? I tried to cut mine to fit and it was too hard......

Mines done this since new, when cold at highway speeds (I live 2kms from a freeway) the car has a vibration, after about 5-10mins it goes away when the tyres warm up. I thought it may have been the tyres flat-spotting and now I am convinced.

The mpg is hosted at BA mpg movie (about 1.3MB) be warned though, it doesn't show us too much at all.

Blaupunkt told me that a TV tuner wasn't available through them but a non-Blaupunkt unit would work. I'm dying to see one in the flesh and see if it is as good as it sounds!!!

I bought my car at Westpoint and have had two services carried out there, I would highly recommend them to anyone. The service staff appear to know their stuff and tend not to bulls%$t too much.

Dagabond, the $130 price I advertised at the top is from Hoppers Stoppers. Peter gave me that quote and he has them in stock. He is also a very knowedgable bloke who had a bit to say about the BA brakes. Also told me that he is attending a DBA conference next week and he expected the BA to be a hot topic there.

Please keep us informed of what you hear, I'd be extremely keen to find out all the details and options. I'd also like to know what the resolution of the ICC is like whilst viewing DVDs, it looks pretty good in the screen shot at the Blaupunkt site. I would also like to know where all the parts get mounted in the car, ie dvd player, nav unit and aerial.

The DBA Standard rotors are $88ea. I've emailed them and am waiting a reply as the BA stuff is not listed on their page yet.

Just wondering what price those that have bought the slotted DBA front rotors (DBA504SL/SR) have paid? I have been quoted $130ea, anyone tell me where in Melbourne I can get them any cheaper? TIA

Thanks for the info.. Can I option the twin tips onto the mild steel catback system? Which Ford dealers in Melbourne are agents for you? How long does it take to fit the cat back system? Do you have a demo car that I can come and see?
