  1. Looks great, care to share the cost? How do you find the premium sound screen for watching movies? Good resolution etc?
  2. Does anyone have a weblink for the VDO system or a RRP?
  3. Chris, Please recommend an installer in Melbourne if you know of one. Do you have any photos of your install?
  4. Chris, Is your DVD player a Blaupunkt unit or another brand? I know a lot of installers are actually not using Blaupunkt players.
  5. I totally agree with you there XR6na, l went down to Geelong today and Michael fitted a lower grille for me today, and it looks SMASHING he is a perfectionest at what he does. He even cleaned my intercooler for me. MICHAEL YOUR A CHAMP! Glad you had a good experience. Michael does do an excellent job!
  6. The covers look very good, I think I may have to get a set. So the clips are still there, you just thinned them out so the clear between the light and the spoiler, is that correct? Where did you pick them up from and how much were they? Thanks
  7. Would you have any photos of the covers fitted? Keen to apply some protection to my lights.
  8. PHNTUM> Is it possible for him to do an Oil Pressure Gauge or maybe a voltmeter for us non-turbo guys?
  9. Mine looks like its about the same size as your's Ken! Here are some photos of the grill. Pic 1
  10. I had Michael fit one to my car today, I am very impressed with the look and the quality of his grill. He was a perfectionist when it came to the installation, ensuring nothing was scratched/damaged and that the grill was lined up perfectly upon installation. (if only Ford took this much care at service time!) I highly recommend the grill to anyone, cost is $75 shipped to your door or $65 fitted at his home in Geelong VIC. Contact details are: mcgrixti@iprimus.com.au
  11. I'd be keen if they are also going to offer either Oil Pressure and/or voltmeters as well for us N/A guys.
  12. I'm with you Scotty, 2 small ones with BLUE lights please. You could put any two of the following: - Boost Gauge - Oil Pressure Gauge - Voltmeter Gauge Even us NA guys could fit them I found this on the whitepages: GAUGE WORKS AUSTRALIA Unit 3/ 6 Shepherd Crt North Geelong 3215 (03) 5277 9296 Fax (03) 5277 9487
  13. Dagabond> I think your car is the first BA I've seen with a cigarette lighter in it........ How times have changed!
  14. I received an email from Michael yesterday and I will be calling him on Monday to arrange fitting of a grill. I am looking forward to seeing your photos and to read about what's involved in the installation and your views of the grill. I am also a bit concerned about "cutting the tabs off my spoiler" what exactly is this?
  15. I'm interested to hear how everyone is going with tyre pressures, I have just discovered my tyres were set to 32 PSI by Ford, I have now increased them to 40 PSI and am monitoring improvements in noise and cold tyre flat spotting. So what pressures are we now running after several months of experience with our BAs?
  16. Just put 40 PSI in my tyres and the difference is remarkable. Ford had inflated them to 32 PSI and they were driving me crazy with road noise etc. I will monitor the cold tyre flat spotting I have experienced since I've owned the car and see if this also goes away. Anyone want to comment on what pressures they are currently using?
  17. Great find, I noticed that there when I fitted the aux audio connector, it didn't even click that it was a light socket. Just went to Supacheap and bought the globe and fitted it instantly!
  18. Is it a Ford alarm or an upgrade alarm (non-Ford)? If it's a non-Ford upgrade alarm and it goes off always 15 minutes after being set, the problem is the boot light circuit. The boot light circuit goes inactive (in case the boot is open the light goes off after 15 minutes to save the battery) and causes the alarm to sound. Easily fixed by placing a diode on the line to the boot light. Alarm company should know about this.
  19. I've noticed that the tyres are noisy, when these wear out I will definately be looking at another brand of tyre. What else s%its me about these tyres is the flat spot issue, ie. park the car overnight and in the morning the car feels like it needs a front end wheel alignment for about the first 5-10kms until the tyres warm up.
  20. Thanks for the photos. That goes clean off! Now I really-really want one...... What are your first impressions of the unit? What's the sound like? What's the resolution of the screen like? Do you mind sharing the total cost, was it around $1400? Thanks
  21. The link is: http://www.myford.com.au//OwnerManuals/Aus...BA%20Falcon.pdf
  22. Any chance of some photos of the actual DVD player install? Looks great though, can you share with us the cost?
  23. This is for the DVD for the Satnav when/if fitted. Some members use it for grog etc....
