  1. Does anyone actually know how much Falcon XRs are being reduced during the current "runout"?
  2. The "service" is free. Ask them to change the oil & filter ($60) Don't be too fazzed by your economy, give it until the 15,000kms service for the engine to loosen up a bit. Brakes will be looked at under warranty Nothing much else to worry about expect any warranty issues you may have.
  3. Great, welcome to the club in advance. Make sure you tell us all about your new car!
  4. I think I need to get onto the list to buy one of your used (barely) cars....... I wish I worked at Ford and could afford to buy a new car every other month! By the way, the grill is still going great guns !
  5. I thought I saw the SV6 driving on the wrong side of the road at one stage in the ad, if I wasn't seeing things, it's a wonder the do-gooders aren't wingeing about that.
  6. For the sake of getting into a car almost 2 years younger and gaining a back seat for $10/week, I think it would be great idea to take them up on their offer. Of course haggle them some more before signing anything. What options does the sedan have, is it similarily specced as your ute?
  7. Doesn't it also come with the a pillar tweaters?
  8. Yeah, the premium dash threw me!
  9. Great looking car, am I going blind or don't you have a traction control button?
  10. My grill from the Meshman has been on for about 6 months now and is still like new, I think it looks factory. I'm very happy with his product, especially for the cost!
  11. Well done Pops, I'm still trying to track down a connector, I've used mini-speaker connectors in the interim.
  12. CutSnake has written an excellent tutorial (Proof of Concept), which appears here, if you require any more info please post the questions here and we will attempt to answer them. I will attempt to get some photos to add to the board.
  13. I'm a XR6 na driver of course!
  14. I eventually installed my DVB400 STB. I am very pleased with the result. Looks excellent, people are gobsmacked when they see it. The only issue is a decent antenna, I am currently using a set of rabbit ears on the parcel shelf. I am thinking about getting a TV Antenna that sticks on the back window similar to a mabile phone antenna, does anyone know where I can find one of these?
  15. Has anyone found a good source to purchase the ICC plug for the Satnav Input? I want to connect my digital TV into the ICC properly and use the correct plug.
  16. Cutsnake> have you had any luck with the aerial issue? How is your install going, are you using it much?
  17. Sounds like he was talking about the variable cam phasers, they have been known to stick.
  18. If you phone them they will send out a replacement for free, I have done this a couple of times. (in Victoria anyway).
  19. I'm interested, how much do you want with postage to Melbourne? Did you mod it yourself? Does it work perfectly?
  20. Take them off and spray the rotor hubs black.
  21. Is it true that the DV-B400 has been discontinued? If so that is really bad news to anyone wanting a 12V STB for their car.
  22. Do a search, there is heaps of info around on this mod.
  23. They are the circuit diagrams that show the pin-outs etc of the ICC.
  24. Maybe we could do a similar thing with the aux input to stop the noise?
  25. Again, great job cutsnake. Sounds like a good idea utilising a scart pin.
