Im starting to think that the tuner isnt even getting the message.If I had the time I would have been down there at lunchtime today,I was too busy and stupid me thought that when you leave 3 messages that you would get a call back.. My mate who's car ran crap spoke to his tuner and they booked it in straight away for next Wednesday.

I got told today by the young guy that it could be my driving.I told him about some of the guys on here again and he reckons that the guys doing good times(12.9-13.5) would have the autos tricked up,also said that my gearbox might be slipping. Im still waiting for the tuner(jim) to give me a call.I just want the car checked over to see if their is something wrong.. I am expecting a call back on Monday but am getting tired of waiting for a call back.I have called 3 times and left messages. They should take some advice from other tuners on how to give good customer service..

I think that the competition between tuners in Melbourne has got that big that one of them should move interstate..I know of some nice units in the Hills districts of Sydney that would be good. I guarantee they would be kept busy with tuning alot of XR6T's.

How long a gap should you give to help the car cool down.I did a 14.08 at 6.26pm and didint have my next run till 8pm which was 14.13..In between those runs I sprayed the cooler and piping with ice water and had the bonnet up for a fair while..The first 2 runs were only 28min apart and they were my best 2 times..

Dyno gragh with torque and power..the 164.9 was standard.Had dramas with EBC.Other one is boost..

geea I would love to come down for the BVW2 but I cant see the boss(wife)being too happy about me going away for a few days considering she is 6mths pregnant.I will be showing CRD some dyno sheets from other tuners tomorrow or Monday and seeing what the tuner thinks.. I left a msg for him to call me back today but didnt hear back.. Its obvious by looking at torque and power graphs my tune is down alot on kw and Torque between 60-100kmh compared to a HPF graph that I found on here.This you would think is why Im not getting the mph or time..

Its not Intune or C&V.If I get the same response from the tuner I will sit him down and show him this website to see if he believes me after that.. After looking at some graphs from other cars with same mods I have not got much torque down low..I will have access to scanner over weekend..

I will post up a graph over the weekend.I didnt have it running the standard tune 2fardown.I would be happy if it was only that.. I spoke to one of the guys there this morning who only seems to answer phones all day and he reckons that the times are about right for what I have..After I picked myself up off the floor I told him that there are guys who have done similar times in standard cars and some guys have done around a second quicker with 8+mph.. I will be going to see them on Saturday and speaking to the guy who dynoed it not the receptionist.. He also told me that if I want more power down low I need exhaust,springs and injectors..

Im not going to start a tuner bashing.I will be ringing them today and asking what they think.One of my mates took his skyline out and went 0.4 slower then his last time and he now has bigger cooler and its making more power so who knows..

The track wasnt damp.the track temp was arond 35c.Air temp was 26c..I should have flashed it back to standard to see what time it did

that's what I was expecting Trough.I will wait till it gets cooler and go back out.M y mate is off alot more than me.He has 267rwkw and the best he could do was a 14.1 and 100mph.We dont use the same tuner so who knows

So dagabond high humidity does effect mph and times??

I stalled it up to around 2300 on 2nd run and it started to spin.1st run was no stall which was quickest,3rd run was around 2100..

I went to WSID tonight to race.Before I ring the tuner and ask ?'s I was wondering how much humidity affects the performance of turbo's. My best 60' was 2.29(not too good),my best mph was 101.34 with a time of 14.005..the humidity on my best run was 91% and was as high as 98% on my last run of 14.1.. I want to drive to melbourne now and get it tuned by the guys who can back up with the times(HPF & NIZPRO).. Any advice would be good as the humidity and slow 60' is what I can think of..My mate who has 25rwkw more than me was slower than me and could only get 100mph.

Weather isnt looking too good.It is clearing up a bit but humidity is around 90% at the moment.Im still gunna go if its on.If its cancelled we are going to race on the 14th April(good friday).Would be good to see some of the dyno queens come out and get the times to back it up.

If you have 5k to spend I would be looking at upgrading the brakes if you have standard ones,even if you just got DBA rotors and new pads,get edit and custom tune,valve springs and injectors etc..If you want to send me a pm I could take you for a drive in mine as im in Stanhope/parklea area and have done minor things like edit,custom tune,trans cooler,lowered,typhoon cai and centre muffler replaced with hot dogs.It is only a baby compared to some of the beasts on here but may give you some ideas..

A mate has a set of Nankang 18's on a RX3 that is quicker than most of our cars.He had the car at powercruise last week and turned the boost up to 20psi and he seemed pretty happy with how they gripped around Eastern Creek. Obviously with the power the car has it still lost traction but he got enough grip to chop Gary Myers in a run..

Myself and a mate are going to race on the 15th of March.It would be good to see some other XR6T's race and to meet some of you guys. I noticed that Link and Chopper were looking at going soon.Im hoping for a mid 13 and my mate is hoping to crack a 12.

Yes the prices are in USD.All I did was work out the price and then did a conversion from USD to AUD via a search on google.I didnt use their transport as I work for a INTL Air Freight company and get a 75% discount.I think the Freight charges were similar,they just take longer with their Transport.
