I did a 12.8@108.5mph..air temp was 14c,humidity was 98%,abs baro 29.96?? and track temp was 23.. I done two 13.1's within 30min and left car for 1hr40min and then did the 12.8..each run I did a very little burnout in water..
Its been done as part of the custom tune.Ive been told its better to have a firmer/harsher shift as it means there is less slipping..If you can handle the hard changes then definately leave it as is..
That doesnt look good, considering the car wasnt making any weird noises and still seemed to be going good it would b interesting to find out what caused it..
Thx Jet.I couldnt afford getting the extra gauge and pod at the time so I just ordered the 6107 and mounting cup from egauges.com and put it in that spot..
I installed the Autometer 6107 which is vacuum and boost.boost goes up to 20psi which shld b enough for majority of XR6T's.Mine is just above tweeter..
Thr is an easy way to solve this discussion..Geeseman shld take his car out to the creek again while its cold and see what sort of time/mph it gets..Im sure any of us who have raced recently would offer to drive the car if he thinks he's that a driver.
FR33DY you shld make it in the 12's comfortably if the power is correct.thr was a car thr last night with 260rwkw and he did a best of 12.6..has injectors, exhaust & tune by C&V.he cant comment on here at the moment as he cant get access..
Geeseman I think if jp300 did a 60foot in the 1.9sec area he has a fair idea on how to get the car off the line..getting off the line id the hardest bit unless you have power in the 300's whr you might b a little skatey off the line..
I just got back from watching..I wish I was racing as well.thr was some impressive times done by some of the guys.. Considering some people say its a slow track some of the times were impressive
drcook, the only carwash places I can think of around blacktown area are the ones whr they hand wash it while u wait.I know thr used to be o self serve one on vardys rd kings park at the woolies servo but im not sure if its still thr.
you shld b able to do a mid to low 13 comfortably, some guys have done high 12's with just custom tune..I have custom tune and valve springs only and have done a 12.8 1/4mile
Im guessing it will be the same as the 17th.when you hand in the form in scutineering you tell them that your with the Ford XR6 club and they will give you a special sticker that goes on car..Ill b thr with video & still camera
