  2. Just wondering if any guys have noticed the difference in price from v power to v power racing.The servo I go to has v power racing 22c/ltr more then v power and a mate reckons he saw v power racing only 10c/ltr more at a servo in a different area..
  3. Exactly,youll find that the lower the average speed the lower the km's youll get out of a tank..I average around 35kmh and around 380-400kms..

Im looking at getting some new tyres and have been told these are a pretty good tyre.The only thing that im not sure about is what size to get..I have got quotes on the 235/40/18 and the 245/40/18 and the diff is around $50-60 per tyre..Is it worth paying that much extra for so little extra tyre??
  5. Centre muffler removal only helps car sound better,even with those mods you can still have a 12sec car :banghead:

Congrats on the time mate,its good to see that even with all the bad luck youve had lately you still went out and raced it..Put a set of sticky tyres on there and you should get close to a 11sec time with the speed you got..I cant believe you got 11runs..How many hours does the drags go for at Calder? :banghead:

  16. I did the 12.6 with tune,valve springs and MT's..The 11.8 was with other mods in signature
  17. I agree, I got a 1.72 60 foot with a standard converter..
  18. Good time mate,that's almost identical to what I did with the same power,I managed to drop down to a 12.6 with some MT's
  19. I hate to say it but you should have done more research before you bought the car..When you say its not padded,if you were to get it padded would that bring down the insurance cost??Most guys with quick cars on here would love to have a cage in their car
  20. I dont know why you didnt get the car dyno'd to see what the issues were and also why you didnt speak to C&V or atleast send a pm to ask some questions.. Even now that your happy id still be getting the car checked on the dyno for boost and AFR's
  21. Dont just look at what kms you get,have a look at what your average speed is..I went on a cruze last friday and had a fair few runs but still averaged 11.4ls/100kms..but my average speed was around 65kms..during week I average around 15lt/100kms but speed is around 35-40kmh

  23. To be honest I was mainly watching boost more then rpm.I think it was around 2400-2500rpm.I know on the last pass that boost got up to around 7psi b4 I launched and the tyres spun too much

I got the wog cooler as I was on a budget and it is the best value cooler on the market.C&V werent bagging the wog cooler in my opinion but there are better coolers that flow better etc out there if you want to pay for them..I know that the car can go quicker than that as the last run it spun.Ill go bak out again and try a bigger burnout.Im not really interested in changing anything on it as im happy at the moment with the setup I have
