  1. Cheers Credders, Mate im a mechanical engineer and well I guess a tightarse as well! By that I mean I do as much research as possible before I will hand over my hard earned on anything. The Nizpro shaft is just as the name suggests and is their own shaft. I dont know what the Yarravalley one is. I was shown the finish and tolerances on their part when I had a little chat with Dave down there and I can tell you now that the days of putting a C4 in these cars to go fast is over!! I can assure you that it IS billet, cos its not forged or cast!! The factory one is forged and has a 'rolled' spline and has alot of backlash in the converter (they have their tolerance tighter for a nicer fit) and it is flame hardened (why no two standard ones look the same). Extra clutches are added, billet intermediate shafts are an option also as are convereters. I believe all changes are in the software for shifting etc and not done to valvebody... Hope that helps a little. Read the Fullboost writeup mate, Christian said Nizpro re did the box last week themselves....for what reason is unknown but what we do know is the thing went bloody fast!
  2. Credders, Mate I suggest you go down to Nizpro and have a look for yourself regarding your gearbox.. They were the ones who were the first to make a billet input shaft 2yrs ago now and have been putting alot of time into these boxes with custom parts and such. If you dont get the trans right then all of your money spent on engine power ups are simply wasted. Being able to build and also do the trans tune under the one roof is an advantage as they can do the tune to suit the clearances and way the box is setup.. My own FG 50th will be down there as soon as my tax cheque clears for a full built box and E85 tune.. Best of luck with your ride.
  3. Awesome time! Just shows how ontop of the tune and trans setups these guys really are.... Congrats to Nizpro.
