Oh my lord hello everyone I'm so sorry I never got back to this post as when I got her fixed I was so happy I simply just forgot about this to this day I'm still getting messages and phone calls and yes she was fixed up and it was the ECU 100% had it so a new ECU was purchased Put her on a truck and sent her to Hire ford to dial the codes back in and get her running again I did sell her after all the drama and she is still running perfectly with her new owners regards Robyn

Well its almost been a year and I'm happy to report all is still going great with my XR6 Turbo no problems at all after the new ECU was put in her, sorry to hear people are having the same problems I had with the same stuff around I got, but everything it was doing was all because the ECU was shot, hope I've helped out some people with this problem being fixed

lol I did give him extra and I rang him today and thanks him so much again and invited him to a BBQ birthday party I hope he comes x

No sorry he didnt know why it was doing it only that he was 99% sure it was the problem, he put me onto a place called injectronic's so I sent it to them and a week later they told me the ECU was shot and I needed a new one, so I brought a new one for it through injectronic's and she is all sweet again

hi I only got her home today and I always planned to come back and let everyone who tired to help me out know what was wrong with her there was just to many things that can send them into limp mode and NO ONE in Dubbo could! not even FORD with all their high teach sh*t, in the end it came down to a man named Trevor Wilson in Narromine, who went above and beond to try and work it out, and he found it to be the ECU that was causing the problem and after all his work test everything and having it for a few days he charged me $80.This is a true honest man xx. so I hope this does helps the next poor soul who has this problem xx <3

well I finally have my ute back home so in total repair cost, I spent almost $3500, she is fixed and all the running around and buying new parts she didnt need as the problem was the ECU and she now has a new one that cost me $1650.

and by the way I also have a BA RTV that has under 60000ks and if it happens to it I will freaking die

Hi Im hoping you can help me as no one seems to have any idea, I have a 03 BA XR6 Turbo ute series 1, it keeps running in limp mode, Ive taken it to Ford here in Dubbo and they put it on the computer and the solinod ABC and D came up as faulty, so they told me the gearbox was stuffed, so I then took it to have the gearbox repaired, only to find out after having the solinods replaced, there was nothing wrong with it and the solinods were put back in, he said it looked like new and the oil was still red, it only had a sevice in April this year, so then we looked at the computer and all wires seem to be fine nothing bare and nothing lose. We even hooked up a jumper lead from the battery to the motor to use as an earth wire, but that didnt help at all. The Battery and alinater are both working perfectly. Can you please help sort this out, also you can drive it sometimes for 15 or 20ks then other times you can only drive in limp mode as when you start it either the P R N AND D FLASHES ON AND OFF..The car will only travel up to 45ks ph then limp mode kicks inn. Please help if you can. regards Robyn Jager 0414856276 or g_rljager@hotmail.com
