Hey again Tail shaft was knackered, middle and end. New one was installed yesterday 335rwkw and not driven all that hard.. Didn't think it would go so quick ?

It's more of a thudding from behind the gear box.. Increases as the speed and/or revs increase .. I think the rattle is seperate..

Hi guys for the last few days every-time I accelerate hard there is a noticeable vibration that is becoming worse and worse, seems to be under the driver I can feel it, also a bit of a rattling sound sometime. Gearbox? tailshaft? any ideas guys. When in neutral the car revs to 3-4000rpm, dies down then suddenly kicks around the rev limiter when my foot is flat to the floor. A few of my transmission lines are hanging a bit low I think ive knocked a bracket (I think they are transmission lines).. could this also be a reason why?

It's happened again. Terminals have been cleaned and new relay .. Guess it's the starter .. Tow time I think

hey guys. ok its a tad interesting.. roadside assistance came.. battery was fine. he pulled the starter relay out and put it back in, and the car started? he didnt do this to fix anything he was testing it or whatnot. he doesnt know why it started but he presumes its something to do with the starter motor. I after I arrived home, wouldnt start again. pulled relay out and put back in, started. but since when it hasnt started at all. I can hear a noise when I start, its not a clicking sound, sounds more like a quiet vacuum! lasts about 2 seconds. anymore ideas! ha. auto electrician I guess

Ah k. So back to square one.. Battery has enough volts just checked

The battery and engine light are on.. Does that mean flat battery?

Battery is only 3-4 months old, and last time it came up with error messages though ? But it seems like the most likely cause!

Hey guys I'm stranded in the middle of no where at the moment. I have a fg f6 When I press the starter button nothing happens. Except the middle console screen cuts out black Car turns to the on position, all lights, audio and aircon works. No error messages. Car is in park, tried wriggling wheel. Tried different gears. (It's an auto). Tried locking and unlocking the car Any help would be great thanks !

Sorry haha I was driving home, yeah was the battery. It's the one since new and I've done 54000 (2008 fg f6)

Flat battery.. Would it flash the lights rather then just go dead?

Yeah maybe, I've heard a light whining noise over the last week and my car over heated once?

hey guys not sure where to look for answers im a noob but this is whats happened.... driving down highway passing a truck doing 120km/h and I hear a little noise and "transmission failure" comes up, car is just revving and rolla to a stop. car wont start just turns over making some noise. I know its not gonna be good.. but what has happened? I have to get it towed to coffs harbour ford dealer tomorrow im stuck in the middle of no where its a 2008 fg f6 auto with 330rwkw thanks guys
