  2. I thought it stainless would be better. because alloy is actually a better heat conductor.
  3. hi, im startin to make plans for making my own piping out of stainless and wondering if anyone bas done their own and had any problems?? (being a welder im hoping its not gonna be too much trouble). so heres my grand plan, get under battery intake with a poddy straigh to trbo feeding to the cooler (gonna get a bf cooler as the inlet is on driver side and out let is on passenger side) and coming back up into the engine bay under the passenger side headlight somewhere straight up to inlet manifold.   4. gday guys, iv had my T looked at and iv been told I have a faulty wastgate/actuator. (suck open or closed, I cant remember) I am lookin at getting another one but wondering if there is any harm with putting an upgraded one in or just to stick with a brand new factory wastegate? and if ther are hard to install? iv had a look in the engine bay and I can see that its in a pretty tight spot. so if anyone else has installed one themselvs, any helpfull info wold be great cheers
  5. cheers guys. I have it going into the ford dealership for them to diagnose the problem on monday, bionic_oosty-iv only just purchased it 2 weeks ago, the fella I got her off didnt say anything about a tune, its stock as a rock so id highly doubt its had a tune.
  6. I have a 05 t suffering the same problem, with the valve springs, myne have only been done 2 mnths ago (less than 2000 kms) doesnt make sense. iv read a few other forums and some other ppl r saying its overboosting/spiking
  7. hi there, iv just purchased my self a2005 ba mkii xr6t and just havin a few little issues 1, when im givin it a bit of right foot on boost it will just seem to cut the power, I was thinking some sort of restricter but sometimes it does it at 3500 revs n sometimes it does it at 5000 revs valve springs have only just been done 2 mnths ago.... 2, this weird shutter ( iv only noticed it when the car cools down, as in if I drive somewhere then park it up for an hour the go for a drive it will do it again, only for 5-10 seconds) the car will stall if you dnt rev it, it seems like its not running on all cylinders. 3, clunking in the diff, or something in the rear. when changing gears the clunking is very noticeable but iv seen receipts from not too long ago the diff having some warranty work done to it.. any helpfull info would be great
