  1. Nah mate motor has CP pistons Spool rods crow valves springs and some atomic gear like cams and girdle
  2. Yeah the how much is what I'm worried about. Lee reckons to pull out and put back in is about 13 hours labour plus all fluids. That's a expense I can't afford hopefully the engine builder has some sort of warranty on workmanship as I supplied all the parts :( If ever there was a need for a Xmas miracle now would be the time

  4. Hi guys so got some good news and very bad news The car was on the dyno today get its setup tune when the engine's oil pressure started to drop. It is now at 14psi at idle and 36psi at 2000 rpm. Not sure as to why this has happened and will be speaking to the engine builder tomorrow to see if we can work something out. The motor will have to be pulled out to find the problem and fix. I was planning on picking the car up next week but that might not happen

  7. Update time. The motor is in the car and tidied up some problems like the faulty knock sensor and a stuff engine mount. The gear box and new convertor are on its way back from Monsta Torque and the new tailshaft is ready to go back in. Hopefully in a couple of weeks she will be alive. Then it's run in time yay

  16. Mr Turbo is the way to go mate $1795 plus straight piping and retune should be in your budget
  17. When I was looking at changing my turbo setup I looked at the precision pt6766 which can produce about 900hp. But to look at things from a budget position the MTQ options was better it only cost $1795 and is a straight bolt up just having to change the piping on the hot side that's all. If you look at the cost of going high mount your looking at $2500 for the ball bearing pt6766 $1300 for a 6boost manifold new dump pipe about $900 plus new waste gate about $500. To put a high mount onto a stock motor will not last so there is the cost of building your engine to suit which could be anywhere from $2500 and upwards. My motor is built and I'm going to see how the MTQ goes. A 470rwkw street car is perfect for me as it is a daily driver. My two cents

    Ok cool I'm running a mr turbo which is very similar to the gtx My engine has Carrillo piston spool rods atomic girdle and stage 4 cams Has had head work and balanced Will be interesting to see how both cars go

    What work have you got done to the motor and what turbo you running ? I bought johns exhaust My gearbox should be back from Monsta hopefully by mid next week.
  25. Hi guys just wondering if I can run a convo pro 15x10 rim on a BF F6 with a single piston caliber on the back. As for tyre selection was looking at a MT et tyre 15x275x60 Thoughts ?????
