  1. Thanks to those who replied, changed coils and plugs, think it was the coils as they looked original and shes done 130,000kms, plugs looked ok but changed em anyway. All good and hauling ass again.
  2. Well Mike, your spark plug replacement write up is awsome my friend. Changed my plugs today, coils as well, job was a breeze after reading your post. Thank you for your effort in doing so . Regards Mick Davis.
  3. Yep all of a sudden, one morning on the way to work gave her a little squirt in my favourite spot and that's when I noticed it .
  4. I did the boost solinoid clean a little while back with good results, I learned how to do it from this forum, thanks guys, after thst it seemed to come on boost quicker. Im thinking coils or plugs with this problem. But that's only my thoughts.
  5. Hi all , I have an Ba 2004 XR6T, owned it for about 3 months , had it fully serviced and it run brilliant so far untill just now. The other day the rear muffler sh*t itself, its a redback cat back system by the way, At the time the muffler died the car started to run poorly on boost. Had the rear removed and put straight thru pipes there in its place. Naturally I blamed the muffler because all the fiberglass was comming out and probably restricting things, however the thing is still running crappy on boost with the rear gone. Not sure whats been modified on this car it came from a dealer, all I know is Aps injectors , the blue ones I think their rated for 320-390kws, ss inductions cai the one with the panel filter, boost and oil pressure gauges apart from that I dont know whats been done to it, but untill now it went like a rocket. Has a fluttering effect or flatspot at about 5 and a half pounds boost , used to smack 12 pounds on the boost gauage before and nail you to the seat , Any ideas would be greatl appreciated. Thank for a great forum.
