Hi guys Recently I had a brief check over the car and I found oil residue around the diff. I'm just wondering is it a big job to change the pinion seal? Does it require the diff to be emptied? Is there also a guide on how to change it?

Could it be the waste gate on the brink? If so how is it to change, like job breakdown?

Hi guys I got a problem with my BA XR6T auto 2004. It only just started happening but while I plant my foot and when it gets to full boost I feels as though my car is holding back running sluggish. I have changed my sparks plugs like 6 months ago and I didnt think to change the coil packs as it runs fine off boost, today I cleaned my boost solenoid. but the problem seems to still be there. Need help.

Cheers mate. Could you recommend a brand if they are buggered? I don't mind the price I just get a good brand to last longer.

Yeah I have had the wheels balanced and rims checked. I haven't looked at the lower control arms. Should I check the tie rods aswell?

It's varies with speed but mostly higher speeds. It doesn't happen while braking. But if I do brake it seems to settle the shakes.

Hey guys Ok first things first, I bought my 04 BA xr6t in feb. I knew the rotors on the front needed replacing. So I decided that I would change all rotors I got some DBA street series slotted rotors and bendix brake pads. Fitting them was fine no problems. Fitted 4 new tyres in June. Only recently I have been getting a on and off violent shakes through to the steering wheel. I thought it was the wheel bearings. So I replaced them all good to. Ran fine for a couple of days without shakes. Then they started again. I need help I'm not sure what else it could be. Had tyres checked, rotors checked pads checked. Could it be bushes or suspension?

2004 BA Manadrin colour I know my name says blood orange, thought that till I tried to match the colour code :? (still waitin on ticket to change it) Well at the moment my beast is stock :( besides the oil feed line. I know that doesn't sound impressive but I'm looking into modding, just need money (always seem the problem). What I'm looking at doing is - Valve springs, 60Lb injectors, fuel pump, actuator, high flow cat and lastly Flash tune.

Hi Everyone I'm Ben. I live in perth. Recently just bought my xr6t loving it, better then the Expensive Daewoo I used to drive that's for sure. Would like to join cruises and meet up days, so I can get to know all from perth and get some more insight into modding from experienced guys that have done it.

Well that's my next step, Beefing it up a bit. I got it listed down what ill need from the forums. When I get back from karratha, might head into Xrtreme Ford Tunning, see what they recommend.

I have just remember that the filter is kept in by a circlip, so u can remove it from the fitting, so I answered my own question about the oil pressure sensor. So you havent had any problems with the hard lines?

Hello everyone. (first post) Recently I have just purchased a 2004 BA XR6t, Happy with the car runs well, drives smooth. After purchasing the car, I wanted to be satisfied with it all, I did a service myself. After reading all the talk about caring for your turbo I decided to check the oil feed lines, The stock hard pipe line to the trubo was blocked. So I contacted my mate at ford. He got me a new hard line and an FG filter. so I was happy about that. Now since joining the forums, I have read that everyone gets rid of the Hard lines, after further reading everyone is different about which kit to get. (Earls, EMT, Superflow.) All I want to know is which kit is best to get (I dont want to start a roit between members). side note - I read on the item descriptions for the new kits that they remove the stock filter. that being said what happens to the Oil pressure sensor that is on the filter in the block?
