Man, I sold a lot of things that related to my hobbies. I currently own no guitars or recording gear either. Again, not because she told me to, but I guess being in that relationship I wasn't in the right head space to get stuck into my hobbies...

Nah, to be fair she didn't convince me to sell anything...I just lost a lot of myself in that relationship.

My old lady has rheumatoid arthritis, so not quite the same as your condition but a carnt of an autoimmune disease also. She's had plenty of ups and downs over the years, plenty of times where she could barely get out of bed while her immune system munched on her joints, but eventually her doctor got the drug concoction right and she's never let it stop her where. I remember she said my dad (years before they divorced) was ready to stop working and me a carer for her, but her doctor (specialist) told her in no uncertain terms she didn't need a carer and she could do whatever she put her mind to ... and having that mentality has helped her immensely over the years, because she obviously can't control the disease, but she can control whether she lets it control her and how she views herself. My mum worked right up until she was early 60's and now she paints and gardens hard out in retirement. So I guess I'm just trying to encourage you to try and stay as positive as you can, as the human body can definitely deal with some chit! Also sounds like you've got a great support in JET! Congrats on the anniversary!

That sit/stand desk is actually a really great idea for a racing sim! Wish I'd thought of that...and not sold my racing sim setup...

Yeah, I stopped after Black Ops. Once they started adding all the extra chit I stopped caring. I'm with freaky, simple gun fights is where it's at!

I've had actual flu all week, been a carnt of a thing - kept me up most night coughing my lungs up...not fun. Also managed to sprain my writs digging garden posts out last weekend and it's been getting worse and worse as the week went on. Went to the physio Friday and he did some physio things, taped it up and said to come back Monday morning. It's pretty crunchy, which in the context of wrists isn't ideal...also means I haven't been able to dig any more garden posts out.

Not my one, no. But my mates did and I drive that back to back with my GT and was a definitely difference.

^WHS! Source: had both manual FG XR6T and FG2 GT...both notchy, clunky garbage. GT gearbox would grind under load rather than slot easily into 3rd gear...and before you say "operator error" this was confirmed by other members here, and also by the foreman at the Ford dealership I took it to under warranty. Foreman confirmed it shouldn't do that, sent through for warranty work...Ford came back with "we're not aware of any manufacturing fault that would cause that...no warranty replacement for you"...so I traded the car for a VF SSVR - whole different ballgame.

So easy to be lazy and just order uber eats...but I always tend to order unhealthy things. So at least this way I'm eating healthier and ultimately saving money, plus it's actually pretty tasty.

Been on the Lite N Easy for the last week. I'm enjoying it - I don't have to plan meals, go shopping for food or cook, it's calorie controlled and it's a lot healthier and cheaper than uber eats!

Strangely, I agree with Keith on this one.

If it's just standard mechanic type work then I can highly recommend K-Tec Motorcycles in Kenwick. They do a lot of car stuff and are the most honest mechanics I've dealt with and definitely won't take you for a ride. If you need Falcon specific work or tuning done then Monsta Torque were the ones to head to, last I was aware.

Just had a really average kebab in the city. Shame, as there's a local neighborhood kebab shop near my house that would be the only place I've had kebabs from for as long as I can remember and they do pretty great kebabs...so was pretty disappointing to remember not everywhere makes such good kebabs. I feel like I've written kebabs a lot in this...kebabs... Kebabs... Oh, and I had some chips...and had a whole bunch of wine before that... And some cider... And also some beers...
