3 weeks (including this week) - 2 of which are in Perth and then 1 in Bali. Yeah, finished and submitted the one that was due yesterday - hoping to knock at least one or both of the other two off before Bali...but we'll see.

GF and I took the dog down to chase the ball around at a local school oval this morning and there were fresh lines painted on the grassfor running races. We got competitive and decided to have a race between the three of us (her, me and the dog)...end result was a grade-2 tear in my hamstring and putting myself out of action for 6-8 weeks, not to mention barely being able to drive my car home from her house afterwards. So yeah, that's a thing...

Cheers fellas. Yeah, she's definitely the least crazy and most chilled out of any girl I've dated...so much so that I feel like I'm possibly the crazy/needy one in the relationship at times haha Her fam are pretty normal too, and small like mine. Just her mum, sister and brother-in-law and their 2 kids in Perth, and they're all great. Looking forward to the new challenge and actually being busy/properly utilised at work again, although a little nervous about having to start from scratch, find my place and prove myself again in a new team. Also going to be interesting getting used to a whole lifestyle change too...being home significantly more and having to deal with daily commutes and food stuff is going to be interesting haha.

Have 3 weeks off before I start the new job, 2 of which will be spent trying to get as much of my semesters uni work done as I can, then the last week I'll be in Bali with the missus and her fam (they're good people).

Last Friday on site (at least in a permanent FIFO role) for me today
