I noticed more noise with mine too but not spooling, I noticed a very slight whoosh when I come off boost even with the atmo part blocked and on full Plumb back If you have it fitted right it will be easy to tell, will either have alot of flutter or won't hold boost at all Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using Tapatalk 2

I have the same one fitted to mine and made no difference to performance just made it sneeze louder when I back off the throttle Have you got it fitted the right way? The vacuum line should be right against the firewall if it is a bf like mine Not sure about fgs I've been told if it is fitted the wrong way it will have excessive flutter and is easy to work out you have got it wrong Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using Tapatalk 2

I was wondering the same thing at the start of the year then had a drive of an fg xr6 then a Bf2 xr6 turbo Have had my turbo 3 months now and don't regret it one bit When buying one you should have a pretty good idea of how it's been treated, if the Diff feels smooth its had a very easy life and another good thing to check is shaft play take the pipe of the front of the turbo and give the shaft a wobble, if it doesn't have any play its most likely had an easy life Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using Tapatalk 2

If you have a regular mechanic that does most of your work that would help, I've been using mine since I was 17 and he just did only what was necessary and didn't try to find anything wrong that wasn't obvious Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using Tapatalk 2

Taking the sticker off and doing other stuff to hide the fact it's a turbo won't help Cops can tell with their rego scanner straight away its a turbo and you will get caught and if you crashed your insurance will be void as others have also said Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using Tapatalk 2
