  1. I'll just get a walbro then ..better safe then sorry ... only 1 seller on eBay :/ I'm guessing the walbro pumps are put into a Delphi housing ..seeing I have to buy a complete unit
  2. quite odd actually.. yesterday while playing aroudn the vacuam line that goes to the fuel reg.. my car idled better when I disconnect the hose.... god knows y.

  4. the steel rod that is joining the 2 together is broken ..it's hard to see in the photo but the guy previously put it in broke it as it had super glue on it lol
  5. just note guys it's only a stock xr6t with a f6 cooler and f6 snorkel ... that's the only mods done to car .. and don't think I would do anything else as I use the car as everydayer
  6. na my housing is all stuffed ..so no point for me .....come on guys I need to get one today! which model walbro should I get ...or just a Delphi? and how to know if genuine .......wanna get her going good again....scared about her running too lean :/

  8. well the guy at ford has no idea.... 6 na and 6 turbo is a diff fuel pump.... ive got the standard fuel pump in now.. and it feels like its running better.. so cant wait to put the proper one in..... seems like alot of people use a walbro as a aftermarket pump........ should I go a delphi or walbro... is the walbro mainly for modified engines?
  9. lol about wooden stick I hate iPhones always change my words lol the work had to be done my friend ok I have changed the fuel pump ( I have put a second hand sender in for testing purposes I gonna put a newy but can't get it till tomorrow ok first things I've noticed I now have 5 bar of pressure on idle with the vacuam hose plugged in when I rev to about 3 grand and 4 grand it pretty much stays the same if not goes down a little ....funny thing is I called westpoint ford...they reckon a 6 non turbo and a 6 turbo fuel pump is the same I need to order a pump ...what do U guys recommend ...should I just get another Delphi? stock motor guys with just a f6 cooler
  10. sorry forgot to answer the questions ..car has 150000 kms looks like a new fuel pump assembly what's the best to get? stick motor with only a f6 intercooler
  11. boys I've for the pump out! ok the steel rod is damaged ...now question ..everyone talks about a hose being damaged ..which is this..pulled the pump out ...this is all I have
  12. ok guys got the t hooked up ...while revving through range pressure drops instead of increase I...idle pressure is about 4 bar with vac hooked up ..and increased a little with vac disconnected
  13. I would if that was the issue ...a lot easier changing coils than a fuel pump ...but it's not coils being the problem is worse after half a tank of fuel
  14. ok well I've checked the fuel pressure after the fuel filter but only as a dead end ..it primed to 4 bar need to get a fitting to go into the click in fitting to make a t
  15. boys where at you hooking up guage ... just had a look .. fuel line goes straight into reg and reg goes straight into fuel rail... then there is the vac line that goes into reg seems like there is no spot to test after reg ...
  16. thanks for the help boys when you mean hunt what do you mean? ralph I think I will change the coils like you said but still gotta be a problem with fuel being after half a tank issue gets real bad
  17. ok will try and hook up the reg tomorrow... benny any idea wat pressure it should be.... and regards to the fuel pump... ive just read up on it....... omfg wat a mission .. still havnt decided if im gonna change it from top or the bottom.... as from the bottom removing the tank is good to clean it thanks for the help I will reply back tomorrow with it
  18. Benny, would u test before fuel filter or at the regulator.. (vn's used to have a connection where the fuel rail is to hook up a pressure guage? ba's have anything like that?
  19. does have a rough idle.. and it seems on start up is where the problem is at most what I have done is. New plugs.. coils I have tested with a meter (sparky by trade so that was easy) however one did have a hair line crack but meter showed up as fine. new inlet manifold gasket as did have a leak. new throttle body gasket cleaned inlet manifold and throttle body with carby cleaner as I was doing the inlet manifold and throttle body gasket chucked some fuel system cleaner aswell in tank havnt done the oxy sensor yet.. but im leaning more towards fuel issue Also once tank is half full it gets worse.. towards a quarter tank left, gets bad so basically if I was to give it entering freeway, she would bog down. The issue with the fuel tank hose breaking is that also with utes or just sedans? thing is its very inconsistent when im over half a tank full. sometimes id give it and the car jumps for joy and then other times it keeps reving (no boggin down) but feels like the revs take forever to move up.. (like when u would highway gears in your diff)

  21. is that with a ute aswell? ... hmm I think I should of stated it was a ute....... I just been hearing the reg's clogg up alot because of the fuel rail starts to peel away inside it?
  22. Hey guys, havin a bit of issues with car.... feel like loosing alot of power at times. Ive done quite a few things and issue is still there.. After abit of googling.. it seems like fuel reg's are a bit of a common one.. Just wondering if anyone knows how to test? Willing to test fuel pump (as it might be that aswell) and then if possible to test after reg aswell. Borrowed a fuel pressure guage of a mate. Sorry if this has been asked before.. I did search before hand. Any info and figures would be greatly apreciated Thankyou Charlie
  23. thanks mate.. where the hell did you find that high series had 250w unit...? any more detail on it.. cause curious if it actually pumps out more rms through each channel or just add's channels thanks bud
  24. ahh I see, what about the speakers, are they the same no matter what system you had? and does a color screen unit pump out more power? or is it just looks?
  25. Guys ive been doing some searching but can only find info on sedans. My ute is a ba series 1 xr6t Ive got the pillar speakers, speakers in the doors, and speakers behind my seat Got the 6 stacker non color screen. Is this prestige, or premium, im confused Now if mine is the prestige (middle class) which I think it is, did the premium sound systems in a ute get a factory amp and sub? Got a few more questions but they can wait till next post. Thank in advance
