  1. I'll just get a walbro then ..better safe then sorry ... only 1 seller on eBay :/ I'm guessing the walbro pumps are put into a Delphi housing ..seeing I have to buy a complete unit
  2. quite odd actually.. yesterday while playing aroudn the vacuam line that goes to the fuel reg.. my car idled better when I disconnect the hose.... god knows y.
  3. thanks for that info... are the factory ones (150 lph) border line or do the job easily? basically at what level does the standard pump become not enough thanks for all the info boys
  4. the steel rod that is joining the 2 together is broken ..it's hard to see in the photo but the guy previously put it in broke it as it had super glue on it lol
  5. just note guys it's only a stock xr6t with a f6 cooler and f6 snorkel ... that's the only mods done to car .. and don't think I would do anything else as I use the car as everydayer
  6. na my housing is all stuffed ..so no point for me .....come on guys I need to get one today! which model walbro should I get ...or just a Delphi? and how to know if genuine .......wanna get her going good again....scared about her running too lean :/

  8. well the guy at ford has no idea.... 6 na and 6 turbo is a diff fuel pump.... ive got the standard fuel pump in now.. and it feels like its running better.. so cant wait to put the proper one in..... seems like alot of people use a walbro as a aftermarket pump........ should I go a delphi or walbro... is the walbro mainly for modified engines?
  9. lol about wooden stick I hate iPhones always change my words lol the work had to be done my friend ok I have changed the fuel pump ( I have put a second hand sender in for testing purposes I gonna put a newy but can't get it till tomorrow ok first things I've noticed I now have 5 bar of pressure on idle with the vacuam hose plugged in when I rev to about 3 grand and 4 grand it pretty much stays the same if not goes down a little ....funny thing is I called westpoint ford...they reckon a 6 non turbo and a 6 turbo fuel pump is the same I need to order a pump ...what do U guys recommend ...should I just get another Delphi? stock motor guys with just a f6 cooler
  10. sorry forgot to answer the questions ..car has 150000 kms looks like a new fuel pump assembly what's the best to get? stick motor with only a f6 intercooler
  11. boys I've for the pump out! ok the steel rod is damaged ...now question ..everyone talks about a hose being damaged ..which is this..pulled the pump out ...this is all I have
  12. ok guys got the t hooked up ...while revving through range pressure drops instead of increase I...idle pressure is about 4 bar with vac hooked up ..and increased a little with vac disconnected
  13. I would if that was the issue ...a lot easier changing coils than a fuel pump ...but it's not coils being the problem is worse after half a tank of fuel
  14. ok well I've checked the fuel pressure after the fuel filter but only as a dead end ..it primed to 4 bar need to get a fitting to go into the click in fitting to make a t
  15. boys where at you hooking up guage ... just had a look .. fuel line goes straight into reg and reg goes straight into fuel rail... then there is the vac line that goes into reg seems like there is no spot to test after reg ...
