  2. Happy Birthday fletty!

  3. After numerous post's in this thread and others. I finally got some wheels.. ***LOTS OF PICS *** Ended up with what I originally wanted when I first bought my car, varrstoen 2.2.2's 19x9.5 +22 all round Fitted the rears up, Poked about 3mm on the top (was hard to get it accurate but with no tyres) Fronts followed, due to how low it sits there is heaps of camber so they tucked in about 5mm at the top Tyres were fitted. 245/35 Federel 595 EVO's all round Fronts had heaps of clearance, rears however caused an issue under load.. Borrowed a gaurd roller and spent the afternoon perfecting the rears I knew that just rolling them might no give me the clearance I needed, so I decided to pump them also, they are pumped about 5mm, You can see the new body line about an inch and a half between the rear bumper and rear gaurd join Same angle as before, Heaps of clearance now Sits nice now, fronts could do with a 5mm spacer but at the moment im happy with the fitment Should also note I have xsport coilovers.
  4. PM mummba, he can check inner clearance for you with his 10 +25's
  5. Precision make some good gear, and the 6266 is the usual weapon of choice for most going down the path of precision turbo's. There is some up sides to be had with the external gate depending on your tuner's ability to control boost. Is this particular turbo coming with a vband? This will be an added cost to fit to your current manifold. You will also need to modify your dump pipe to suit, including either plumbing back the gate or running a screamer pipe.. Im sure if you factor in those cost's you will still come out in front, Maybe the 6235 is similar to the GTX3576r? If so, would be a great upgrade for 380-400rwkw
  6. Can the standard gear knob on the FG be removed and replaced? If so how? Thoughts on these? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Core-Short-Throw-Shifter-2008-2013-Ford-Falcon-FG-TR6060-XR6-XR8-Ute-Turbo-FPV-/281132979203?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4174d4d403&_uhb=1
  7. Haven't posted in a while, but a lot has been going on. Diff bushes have been replaced. As you can see, it was stuffed, the centre came out with the bolt. I also replaced the clutch myself with an NPC single plate organice copper mix.. Old clutch was well fried 1/8th mile drags have come around again.. Big weekend, the local club had the biggest meet they had ever had with over 80+ cars. It meant for limited passes but all in all a great weekend. Saturday was hit and miss for me, best run been a 8.191 (0.002 quicker than previous pb) but then dropped back to a 8.6 consecutive. Kept missing third as frustration was setting in and nothing seemed to be going my way. Qualifying and elimination came around today, Again, couldn't get consistant times going into the finals running a best of 8.45 with a high of 9.2 Before my elimination run I reflashed my tune, and decided to run my tyres down to 14psi.. Set my dial in at 8.40, had the ***** and launched off the line hard at about 5500rpm and ended up breaking out with a 7.980 Annoyed at breaking out, but glad to finally hit the 7's. New NPC clutch is spot on, highly recommend it to anyone who drives there car hard AND some vids http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vF5JAIRXerc
  8. 55w from memory, I got them from CETNAJ electrical.. Same kits as eBay though.
  9. FG2 have projector lense low beams, they are directed perfectly. High beam on the other hand would be ordinary..
  10. I have HID's in my MKII projectors, Super easy install, much better night driving quality. went the 6000k
  11. These are both appropriate for this thread..
