  1. surley that's the non turbo model The gts-t skyline would easily run a 13.9 from factory I woulthink. EDIT: maybe not? Have a read here on the skyline forums place http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=66552 QUOTE: a completely stock r33gtst manual will run a very high 14 or low 15.

    Stock Dyno Run

Oh Man! I can't wait that long. Ive only done 1500kms! So then do they recomened that you wait till then to perform engine modifications???
  3. Well I guess there's one positive from that. People won't try car jacking?
  4. G'day! um, my friends gota R33 skyline. a couple mods like pod filter, a very mild exhaust and a few computer tricks. He has a switch to change the boost pressure from a bit over stock to much higer.... Personally, I've never driven the car, or know its true quater times, but I just get the feeling its got more go that my T. "Seat of the pants" feel I guess. Its only a feeling, but id say it would be about 1/2 second or more faster down the quarter. Could be wrong; different gearing, different feeling being the driver, - who knows. My T is stock and has only done 1500km.... Having said that, the T has it all over it in style, comfort, stock stereo kicks it. Suspension is so much better too from stock. And I just COULD NOT live with an R33 day to day. Ugly, early 90's jap interiour is just plain crap.... oh and those faded UV damaged headlights that look like toe-nail rot. ...
  5. holey crap!
  6. MKII T 6SP Manual Premuim Brakes Premium Sound Alarm (RRP ~500) Spare alloy Aux sound plug Scuff plates Tint Metallic paint as well if were going to be specific! Carpet mats $49,000
  7. I went with the Ford option because insurance companies didnt know what the hell I was talking about with either: A) The PBR setup B) The Ford premium setup. Either way the response was: "We dont have that on our list." All except for Just car. I like the ford rotors better. No NVH issues with them.
  8. Nice one! Keep an "ear" on the diff. Mines done 1200Km, whining between 80-100 (couldnt care less really), but what gets to me is the absolute shudder in my whole car at around 100-110+km/h.... I think ill be asking for a new diff. My EF was smoother at highway speeds. Anyway enjoy it, no point harping on the bad!

    Territory Turbo

Yes apparantly they dont have enough room in front for an intercooler. Ken <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who cares even if its not a front mount, imagine the cooling benifits to the underbonet temperature! Besides, it's gotta be at least a year and a half away. Probably for MKII territory and MKIII XR6T Fun fun fun!
  10. Hey Matty, Welcome. Just a comment on the insurance. Why so much, have you had claims or anything like that in the past, bad driving history (not being a smartass) Im also 22, turning 23 in June and insured with RACV for $1600 on a rating 2. This is my first insurance rating aswell. Same with Drcook NRMA - RIPOFF. I was quoted $2200 with Justcars, so it was RACV for me Im in norther suburbs, near Broady ~al <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I had an at fault claim when I was 18 Too young..... But they still gave me raiting 2? eh. None the less, its a tax ride off for the business.
  11. thanks, Bit of history: I signed up on the forums after some guy (I'm guesing the owner of the forum) posted a message on *notallowed* advertising this site. There was a huge rush of new T websites and forums when the BA was released. This one stood out and has stuck... IMO has the best set up of any forums too. good colour scheme, no crap everywhere. I've been following the talk for the two years, but more so the last 6 months until I could actually join in had have an opinion without looking like "some kid" . I had an EF futura - what a change!!! enough bable... see you round sometime! matt. P.S bloke next door's got an integra type S. Go kart handling - but.... doesnt do it for me... T is the gem of a ford crown I think.
  12. Hi all, Been lurking in the background on this forums for nearly 2n a half years now. I bought a new MKII T, picked her up on thursday and its been an absolute delight so far Man 6sp, premium brakes and sound. few other bits like scuff plates... I'd like to get it lowered soon, maybe some bigger alloys. I'll see how I got over the next few months. I'll look at getting an EDIT when the dust settles and APS have something out so I can compare two distinctly different brands. Being a 22 y/o, insurance is a real expensive exercise. 2700 p/a with RACV rating 2. If your in the braeside / moorabbin area I might see you round. Cheers!

    Gear Ratios

They changed the diff ratio too...
  14. I was thinking, what if it actually DID GO IN FIRST gear at 90 or 100km/h. Would ford fix it then? Good luck with it mate. Your gonna need it.
  15. those pictures are abosultely fantastic!!! find it odd they;ve got so many just sitting there!!
  16. hey mate, with the tow pack - what do they actually DO? Do the modify the suspension at all or do they just tuffen up tow bar holder ... Just wonderin, cause if they change the suspension a bit to cope with a heavier load, then you loose rear end compliance...
