Mechanically they are the same car, engine, turbo, all the good bits are the same. However its the upgraded Interior of the in the LV you want, I own one and I totally love it, sold my XR6T ute for it and at the start wasnt sold but now the seats, the engine, the handling is just amazing! Highly recommend it mate.

To many unknown answers to risk spending any money on it in my opinion. Honestly, if it seems to good to be true, it usually is. Got mine at BP performace, they have an ebay page, love it and its pretty bloody awesome but will definitely be getting it customed soon. When it comes to your engine, you dont want to mess with it because $350 could turn into thousands...

Id be very careful for the price, if you want it with a tune you should get it from a tuner not whatever they are. But if your buying it to save money for a custom tuner to make the tune then seems ok. Id be careful though for such a low price.

Bullet performance did the tune, but it was just a generic x3 that they suposedly changed for my car as it has a CAI fitted but idk how true that is.

Yea your probably right mate, Its probably just paranoia, but if it get worse ill definitely be taking it back to stock that's for damn sure! So im guessing there isnt an easy way to just lower the temp on the x3 lol

yea, mines about the same. just under half, but the metal around the motor is ticking somthing chronic that's new and you can just see the heat waves radiating off it and it just feels so much hotter under the hood. Idk, was just hoping that I could change the settings slightly for peace of mind until I tune it.

Yea mate, gonna get a custom soon but was having a moment in my life and needed a rush lol Was just hoping to keep my engine running well (it seems much smoother) well until I get the time and money to send her in properly. Silly I know, hear a lot of crap about generic tunes but so far ive had quite a few smiles out of it.

Hey guys, Got myself a tune and my car seems to be running hotter then when it was stock and a weird burning smell seems to be coming into the cabin on hard acceleration. Was wondering if there was a way to change the engines settings on the x3 to keep it cooler as it seems to be running hotter then when it was stock. Just worried to change any temperature settings without knowing a little about what they do lol Thanks so much for your help!

Mate I totally agree, My ute is sh*t scary even with traction control around corners sometimes and when its off, well lets just say I dont if its wet and I have goodyear Asymetric 2's which are amazing in the wet and even then they struggle.

APS doesnt make their exhaust anymore. tried to call them and they told me to get the xforce. Reason for this, their cat wasnt emissions compliant anymore so they pretty much threw in the towel. Anyway, if you want help with an exhaust feel free to shoot me a message.

I do love the Asymetric 2's but god do they wear out, fantastic grip with no wheel spin and keeps the back end solid to the road but my rears are getting there and its done 8000ks. Kinda thinking about getting some cheap ass performance tyres and seeing the difference lol, ill always keep them on the front though for braking, because as far as I know, nothing beats them in the wet.

Sorry mate, As in performace, honestly I would love to be in the low 5s and in the 1/4 mile it is a dream to be anywhere in the 12s. And I dont know a huge amount about what I need to get there. Been doing a lot of research on what I need, always nice to chat with someone about it though.

Auto mate, nil mods but thinking of going the nizpro stage 2 with big big cooler and xforce turbo back.

Ive got a 2007 xr6T bf2 with the buldge, spoiler and sports bars and ive noticed that I get 0-100 in ~6.6 sec and others get a lot faster. Im curious to know if that's because I have all that extra stuff instead of just a standard slim one or if its another reason. Thanks guys for your replies. Medpro

Maybe think about getting an upgraded turbo actuator or even port the turbo because the standard one can not cope with the high psi which is why you are getting turbo spikes, wastegate cant handle the increase in pressure.

Im just gonna say, Ive done the research, have the same car as you and ill say, Nizpro. The formation of the intercooler is much better for efficency and the price is similar to other competitors. This is my opinion so by no means take it as the most scientific, but when it comes to my car, that's what ill be putting, to be specific, the big big cooler.

Just called APS, turns out they dont make the XR6T exhaust anymore because the Cat they had isnt emissions standard anymore and they told me to buy an Xforce lol! Love it!

It's emissions and sound illegal, I have never been pulled over but it's a little fear. Honestly I want about mid 300s but I wanna be set for the future incase I want more and not have to buy another system. Thanks for your help guys!
