  1. Nice sixman!! Very jelly! What was the fitment like? I too have been contemplating a low mount T4 manifold, but think it might not be worth the trouble. I think low 400's on pump 98 is about the limit for these cars. Would you mint letting me know who you got it from and the price? PM is fine [emoji41] So whats it drive like, are you impressed with the effort it's taken? Do you think now you should have gone the 9180? Would be keen as mustard to see a dyno graph and some video footage, I believe they sound killer!
  2. Hrrrrm... Interesting thread! Sorry to hijack, but it sounds like that could the idling issue I'm currently trying to fix. Can you describe the behaviour it fixed? Wasn't a miss of any sort was it?
  3. Are you grabbing yours from Australia? I've found much better deals OS [emoji6]
  4. Yeah one did go bang, it was a 9180 that was overspeeded. The 9174 doesn't suffer from those issues and has about another 15-20k rpm from memory. I've spoken to Simon quite a bit about efr's as I originally got all my work done with them. He said they are amazing. Dave commented that if I never had plans to build an engine to go with a 8374. Killer turbo on the street. 9180 if an engine was on the cards. Said it still spooled better than stock and make sh*te loads up top [emoji41][emoji108]
  5. Hey sixman, what efr are you thinking? I'm also going down this path as soon as possible to get the best of both worlds. Thinking either the 9174 or 9180 for me [emoji41]
  6. With power nosing over like that I'd be putting in valve springs sooner rather than later!! Congrats on the numbers [emoji106] Any graphs with AFR on it?
  7. It's just the lighting. The inside was very clean in my opinion compared to most Falcons I've seen the inside of...
  8. Within the next 6 months I should have the clutch and turbo sorted [emoji6] I'm still trying to work out if Tassie is a go, would love to come down for it!!
  9. So played with the car on the weekend and managed to get the valve springs and fuel pump setup in. Had the X-Cal unmarried so I can hock it off, it's all HP Tuners now [emoji6] Slight retune because the commanded lambda was miles off now with proper delivery [emoji106][emoji108] Just a few more wasps, but the stock turbo is definitely at its limit. The wastegate duty cycle is maxed out and all it'll give me is 17.5-18psi in the top end.
  10. Cheers Gaz. Been a bit slack in this thread lately. As a bit of an update, car now has these on it It got a re-tune at a mates local workshop and we managed to get a bit more out of her Pretty much out of springs and pump now, so brought this And will have some Crow springs this week, ready to install. Hopefully might be able to crack the 400rwkw mark on stock turbo [emoji41] I'll try and be a bit more active in updating the thread in the future.
  11. Yeah Gaz, I'd love to go on another cruise. I'll talk to the wife and see if we've got any plans around this time.
  12. Yep, getting IAT's below ambient isn't technically possible, it's a physics impossibility unless your using some form of additional modifier (with water or methanol). My Nizzy cooler regularly gets around 5 deg of Delta temp. I'd consider this to be bloddy efficient!
  13. Let us know when u do as I'm after a set of springs as well [emoji106]
  14. Na Keith, I'll install and my mates will tweak the trims if needed up top (am sure he will have to). Now just to get some valve springs and an EFR turbo [emoji1]
  15. I'll send u the box for testing, just may not have anything in it [emoji14]
  16. Should fix my fuel delivery issues! [emoji41] [emoji106]
  17. Nizpro cooler Nizpro 4" system ID1000's Nizpro turbo side intake & battery relo Ported wastegate + upgraded Garrett actuator
  18. Na just the pedal it's still got the stock clutch which already hates me so I don't bother kickin it. I don't even bother showing it boost in 5th or 6th on the freeway, it's just fries the clutch. Need a new one real soon, that's for sure. I've heard mixed things about all spring brands, just not sure what to actually use. Also, can anyone confirm what pump type is in the FG f6, there's no way it's the same as an xr6t?
  19. Yeah it does Keith Tyres are getting a bit worn so sometimes rolling on in third gets a bit hairy. I really need a pump and springs though. What springs is everyone having good success with these days?
  20. Just got my tune tickled by a local mate who owns a shop. Leveled the boost out up top but am definitely needing valve springs and a pump!!! Ended up with a pretty reasonable figure with still pretty conservative timing and 17 pounds of boost.
  21. Running a rising rate reg has nothing to do with injector sizing....
  22. My wifes uncle has just ordered an xr8 sprint I believe in silver colour. I'll get some nice pics of it as soon as it's arrived
  23. Thanks for the response Nick. It ended up going back to Nizpro to have the turbine to CHRA helicoiled. They said it will be fine also, as they also did the port job on it originally.
