  4. Got them all from eBay which I'll post a link for later. They fit perfectly and look and feel amazing!
  5. Installed a proper leather boot set on the shifter, hand brake and hand brake handle. It looks sooooo much nicer and won't flake like the POS factory faux stuff!
  6. That you finish a 10 month turbo build/upgrade, only to find it's all got to come back off to change to a 60mm gate for better boost control [emoji19] God damn they're big!! [emoji41]
  7. Yeah that was my photo he'd posted reusing the pins from one of the aux inputs. I've still not used it in the end as there was too much feedback using the mic 5v power wire. I'll have to find another way. Strangely, apparently you "must" use the external mic with the MK2 version, which I find strange - even when putting it into a MK1 like mine which has the mic built into the front ICC cover. I've tried calls and there's a one way voice issue, which changes when you use the on screen speaker button (goes from hearing the caller and no mic to them hearing you but not being able to hear them). Either way it seems like they should be able to fix this of a MK1 facia is used. Overall I'm still happy, it's miles better than the original MK1 unit. And I was lucky enough to get the newer fast boot model [emoji41][emoji106]

  11. A set of ID1700x's to hopefully finish off the build. Must say I'm getting a little sick of spending money and not getting to enjoy it!
  12. Why do people keep wanting to use 044's? They're old sh*tty pumps that don't handle ethanol well and are noisy as hell! They were cool and the go to pump like 15 years ago in the VL scene when 300rwkw was an absolute weapon [emoji849] Why not setup a proper surge, either in-tank or out with some decent Walbro or Deatschwerks pumps?
  13. I reckon your pump would go very close to 450rwkw on 98. Just remember that E85 requires 30% more fuel volume for the same power.
  14. Yep, am aware of that. Have found the 1700x's for around $1300 USD landed, which is MILES cheaper than local at around 2.5k
  15. I'm about to have the same problem... I've got an ok amount of pump (twin 300's in the KPM in-tank setup) but only have the ID1000's. I'm about to pull the trigger on some ID1700x's but would be keen to know what the max is people have seen on the 1000's on E85? They'll support sh*tloads on 98, like 600+ if you'd ever take a Barra there ( I certainly wouldn't on that fuel!)
  16. Apparently you can potentially send back just the drive for changeover if you want the instant "on" feature. Somewhere in the vicinity of $150 to do. The screen brightness and RAM obviously cannot be changed and are arguably the best new features.
  17. Spoke with them today when I went to pick up the unit. There is def a new unit coming early Jan which has what he described as almost a super cap that keeps power to the device for 48hrs so the boot is instant. Apparently it has more RAM, and a slightly brighter screen by around 10% He kindly let me exchange my order for one of the new units! [emoji41][emoji108]
  18. Ohhhh really!? When I first contacted them, they said they only had 33 units left of the MK2 unit and that they wouldn't be getting more until July 2019. I asked specifically if they would be a different spec and they said no, they'd be exactly the same... Any source for your info? Edit - just remember that the MK2 unit is vastly superior in spec to the MK1 unit already...
  19. Good feedback Rab, pulled the trigger on the MK2 unit for my F6, to replace the sh*tty MK1 piano key unit. Going to pick up the unit tomorrow and have asked them to customise the boot logo to be the FPV version. Here's hoping it's all well and good and that I don't have any of the speaker feedback that's been talked about. I believe retro fitting the MK2 unit into the MK1 is ok, but fitting the MK2 to a MK2 can have some issues... Could you like the exact OBD2 dongle you used?
  20. Yeah the front was all hammered where they dug it out with a screw driver and the rear screw posts were cracked where some 100kg gorilla had swung off the screws and over tightened them. I don't reckon it's even hold screws in it!
  21. Yeah I'll be jumping on the MK2 bandwagon. I'll need to get a MK2 fascia as the one I got from ASL Automedia was rubbish? Tried emailing them and heard nothing back! Anyone know of any in the shadow charcoal colour?
  22. Guys, I unfortunately won't make it... [emoji22] The cars still not back together and we're still waiting on the MK1 Haltech firmware for the computer. Really bummed I'll miss out, I'll most definitely make it next year. I may even try and get to Melbourne or surrounding areas in the next few months if there are any cruises going on [emoji41][emoji106]
  23. Sounds like it's reverted to single zone mode. Weird. Any way to "hard" reset the unit other than in the settings?
  24. Still trying to get the car finished and it going to be tight [emoji848] Just thought I'd share that Wodonga recently got E85 on the hume freeway, so if anyone wanted to switch to ethanol for some spirited driving, it's now up here!! [emoji108][emoji41][emoji106]
