  1. What's your pick of the bunch ratter for a mid 400rwkw stock engined car on E85? You've pretty much played with them all. Is the EFR still leading?
  2. Yeah that's most likely what'll happen next time. The sad thing is my fiancee lost her last cat to the same fate. We had this one locked inside for the fist few years of his life, felt bad and started to let him outside (due to us living in a court). He's been fine for years and never strayed far from home. I guess the odds were against him & turns out that maybe we should have kept him confined. He still had the best 7 years of life and was the most affectionate cat I've ever met. More dog than cat. It just f*cken sux right now...
  3. That my fiancee and I just finished burying our beloved cat... He was hit at around 8pm by a car who never stopped and just left him to die on the road... God damn it makes me angry!! Lets just say I'd not want to run into the guy that did it... RIP little man. You were a joy to have in our family & will never be forgotten.
  4. How much did it go for? The ads obviously been taken down.
  5. What's it like harshness wise?
  6. You can't go past the Zaino kit. Highly recommended based on the heap of research I did for mine. You can get it from Waxit Car Care here: http://www.waxit.com.au/products/zaino-leather-kit If you like you can create an account using this referral link to get another $10 off your first order http://r.sloyalty.com/r/tEbZof5s5T9S Cheers, Rob
  7. Damn that is sexy! Well done mate, its one nice F6!
  8. Stuck some Nexen N6000's on the rear for $145 fitted each [emoji2] Hopefully these are as good as the 3000's I had about 4 years back on a diff car. They'll most likely end up sprayed over the road anyway...
  9. Up to you but I'd prob take it a little easier. Its always best to run what ever it was tuned on. I'm with Fifty though, BP > Shell
  10. I think its obvious that KPM know what they're doing. Any smart proprietor would be foolish to make claims about their products that are unsubstantiated. You would risk your business name and credibility... They obviously have not a lot to gain by doing it, considering its such a small market, but a whole lot to lose if their claims are bogus.
  11. I don't know why this conversation keeps going on... As I see it: - If you can't afford it, buy an external surge and put up with noise, hotter fuel and cheaper prices. - If you can afford it, pay the expense and have a quiet system that looks to not heat the fuel as much. Results at the end of the day mean that your car has a much less likelyhood of blowing up using either system. As for the discussion on 044's.... Well.... I think they've got their place in the market but let's be honest how can anyone refute the manufacturers statement about how they are only built to withstand 500hrs on E85? I think that Bosch know their product, and no workshop in the world can convince me that "she'll be right to set and forget mate". Seriously... Just because a few of you have used them for a few years on E85 now makes your claims superior to a multi-billion dollar OEM manufacturer? I know I'd not be using an 044 on E85 [emoji6]
  12. How about I arrange a group buy if anyone's interested to bring the price down a little? KPM are you are to do this?
  13. Mick, I'm not stating at all that I could design or reproduce this product by myself. I greatly appreciate KPM's effort in designing what appears to be a kick ass product that we could all benefit from. The business side of my brain just thinks that its a touch too pricey and therefore will result in much less uptake. I mean I don't know their sales figures, and hell they may be bloddy fantastic, it just sux that the every-day modder which is prob like 75% of this forum, can't own one or will go with something else because it's cheaper. Note I said "cheaper" not "better".
  14. I agree with rollex. I mean it's already been stated that the pumps alone are less than 200 each, reg would be a hundred or so, then its just wiring and the the swirlpot itself. Couldn't be more than 500-600 in parts. Seems like a pretty decent markup to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to pay for good gear and I realise that every iteration in testing would have cost some money, but don't you see its cost as being inhibitive of the product? Surely the market would open right up if it was around the same price as other comparable systems. l'd think that 1000-1200 would be a fair price for this kit. Considering the tops look cast plastic or spun delrin and the pot us just a stainless tube...
  15. I'd love to fit one of these but the price to me seems quite high... I realise all the r&d that's gone into it over many years, but 1700 odd dollars is a lot for what it is. Similar performance external surges can be had for 1000-1400. In my eyes the current price will inhibit its impact into the market, which is a shame. Do you guys ever have any specials going? I'll jump on board straight away as soon as the price comes down a little.
  16. Get then -5 clamps though as that's what fit the hard water lines perfectly. Just use a bit of rubber in them for the smaller hose.
  17. Then he will upset the space time continuum [emoji41]
  18. It'll be the diff backlash. Get under it quickly and try and rotate the half shafts. Guaranteed one will turn slightly and make a clunk.
  19. Anyone keen for a KPM 1000hp group buy with the newer 300lph E85 pumps?
  20. I found the -5 AN clamps to be perfect [emoji3] Got mine from aliexpress for $7 a pop which is a damn site cheaper than in aus. Can get them in diff colours too. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/5AN-AN5-5AN-ID-12-7mm-Billet-Fuel-Black-Hose-Separator-Fittings-Adapter-SEP-5/1653180401.html
  21. Didn't KPM also do some testing with their swirl pots in a production series ute around mallalla? Only had 5lts in the tank and monitored flow and pressure. They thrashed it around until it basically ran out of fuel. Results were that the pressure and flow didn't budge at all until it just plain ran out. Not banging the KPM drum at all, but I think the data speaks for itself. Surges are redundant compared to a properly engineered intank system.
  22. To the OP, it sounds about right. The restrictor is in the turbo.
  23. It depends on the car. The xr6t's have diff pumps to the f6. Which have you got?
