  1. I've got a 2+ kit on my f6 and was pretty damn impressed [emoji41] Used to the power now though. It made around 100rwkw more than stock which was an interesting first drive!
  2. Yeah I brought up @ Aldi on the weekend also. 2 x die grinders (one angled), air ratchet, rattle gun, air hose etc. Was a pretty bloody good bargain if you ask me!
  3. Just be wary of fakes... There everywhere! I'd only be buying ID's from a reputable seller. Not worth making the spend twice.
  4. Changed my diff oil and put some full synth nulon in. It was only changed 8k ago and still came out like metallic paint... God these diff's are rubbish!
  5. Hey Wilko I think there's a main gulf western distro here in Albury. I could go and ask them about your syntrans?
  6. steel bearings are just considered more "tolerant" of things like oil starvation and are generally harder wearing. Not that you'd ever want to starve your turbo of oil, its just that ceramic bearings would fail in a heartbeat in these conditions.
  7. Maybe not the question to be asking on an xr6turbo forum? Maybe AFF is better suited: www.fordforums.com.au
  8. No probs [emoji6] Was a bit of a half assed effort, as most of the 2nd day footage was toast (because of the vibration issue). Of course you always have the issue of which scenes to keep and which to scratch.... Sooo much footage makes it hard! Quad footage turned out OK, was a little rough though as it had been a while since I'd done any filming... [emoji4] I think I'll need to tweak some gimbal settings if we film there again, the wind was really knocking it around. All in all though it was such a good weekend. Certainly got me thinking about how we can do it better next year. I've already learnt lots on how we can improve the videoing [emoji41] I loved the bit in the twisties where wilko was following me.
  9. Here's one I knocked up guys. Apologies for some of the quality - I had to re-render Gaz's footage to add a bit of a different perspective.
  10. Nice work on the pics and vid Gaz! I'm hoping to do a little edit of the vid I've got over the next week or so. Just trying to find the time... I've also got a few pics that I'll post up with similar shots to Gaz's. lol @ Rab. It might sound ok but it handles like a turd compared to yours! Coil overs are def on the shopping list before next year
  11. I've got a Braun electric and had it for years. One with the self cleaning station. Does me fine!
  12. I concur with all above! Was a great weekend with great company! [emoji106] A big thanks has to go to Gaz for making it all possible. I think it was the most highly organised cruise I've ever been on. Its no easy feat and it takes a lot of effort and planning for something to go so well. Bring on the pics and vids. I'm glad I could be of some benefit to the crew [emoji41]
  13. Beers at Bright Brewery. Ohhh yeahhh.... [emoji2] [emoji41] Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. Just washed the chariot ready for tomorrow [emoji3] Donno why, its gonna get caked in bugs... Hahahah. I guess I'll see you blokes for lunch at ebden then. No breakages on the freeway either lads, u can leave the spirited driving for the hills [emoji6] Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. Im down for lunch also!! [emoji14]
  16. Just checked the site then. Lucky I did as there was only 3 rooms left! Got a family room! Hahaha. Hardly overkill at all... Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. Yep, lookin forward to it! That reminds me, better book a room tomorrow! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah warranty will cover it. I'd be doing everything to get it done under warranty too as its not a cheap fix. My car was just out of warranty and forced the issue with ford for them to fix it. I think its $550 for the module, which only fixes 80% of cases. The other 20% need completely new ICC's! They're from memory 1500-2k from ford.
  19. I think this is sounding like a goer... Might be a good chance to meet some forum peeps and talk sh*t with people that have the same interest [emoji6] Pretty much no other people I know here have turbo falcons... I might have another car coming with, an FG XR6t ute that's also Nizpro modded [emoji3] Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. No sorry, its been years since I've been to mitta. I know plenty who have been though. I'll ask around to get an idea. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  21. Well I live in wodonga so might possibly just join you guys there. Put me down as a maybe at this stage. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  22. Its sill not possible with autometer gauges though. They only run a single earth for the whole gauge. This earth is used for the sensor also. If you were to wire it to the factory dimming circuit, the earths potential would decrease effecting the sensors. If you were using a gauge that has separate earths for illumination, then it would be fine. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah I think I'm getting miss understood. I've already sourced the accessory wires that provide power only when the parkers/lights are on, I'm wanting to try and find the earth circuit that will allow me to adjust the BRIGHTNESS once they're on and also dim with the cluster dimming function. That was all up until I only realised tonight that the autometer gauges use a shared earth for illumination and for the sensor power... D'OH! [emoji30] Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  24. FG buddy, not BA/BF. The wiring circuits are completely different. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  25. No one else can help out here? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
