A1000 is a lot noisier than a 044. All depends on what power you're looking for and on what fuel. For example, I've got a plazmaman surge tank +044 pump. I'm going to a GTX very soon and should be seeing anywhere from 380-410 rwkw. 044 should have no problems at that power level. If you want a fair bit more than go for the A1000

Can't go wrong with either plazmaman or process west. Don't think you can get them in black though.

It was happening to me when I first got my car tuned. Spiro from autotech diagnosed it as being a faulty o2 sensor. He replaced it and I've had no problems since.

A year ago I was in the same boat as you mate. This is what I did in my "stage 1" Harrop Trutrac LSD Superpro comfort bushes Plazmaman turbo side intake + battery relocation Plazmaman surge tank + 044 fuel pump Plazmaman 800hp Intercooler 4 inch dump pipe + cat Wastegate port + flapper mod Bosch EV14 1000cc injectors Xcal3 tune This combo made 320 rwkw. I could've got to 320 rwkw spending less initially but I knew I was going to upgrade the turbo eventually which is why my initial outlay was a lot more expensive than most. I'm now going to a bigger turbo (GTX3582R) and I'll only need (engine wise) valvesprings, an intank fuel pump and to do the catback to make near 400rwkw.

Spotted Veva on the M5 yesterday.

Running about 16 psi with the stock turbo. The truetrac and superpro bushes make the car feel 1000 times better than standard IMO. Can't go wrong with that combo IMO.

No surge tank + 044 ? What T04 turbo is it ? What about your valve springs ?

So the work has been done and the car has been making 320rwkw for a few months now. Ran it down the quarter and got a 12.1 at 116mph when we discovered that it may have had a leaking BOV. We swapped the stock one out for a turbosmart plumb back and it seems to have solved the problem. I've been very happy with it but then I decided it needed one of these :sungum: PS: I blame G6ET8U for this LOL

I don't think anyone said it was a streetcar. Doesn't mean it's not an XR6 turbo. Congratulations on the time.

11.8 is a great time considering the low MPH. What was your 60ft time ? I've gone 12.1 at 116mph in mine.

If you're doing 2.00 60ft times stock, that's pretty good.

12.1 @ 116mph. May have a boost leak though... Told ya you'll get a high 12
