  1. Got a quote from tirerack for a set of Michelin Pilot Super sports. Got a decent price so I'll probably get a set.
  2. You won't need a remote for your go pro. Just download the go pro app for your phone. It's way better than the remote anyway.
  3. GTX too laggy ?!?! I've spoken to several Ford tuners in Sydney that say these are the best turbos to have on an FG.
  4. Thanks for the help. I think I'll stick to 17x9s with the +35 offset then.
  5. Because I'm a noob with wheels and offsets and whatnot, 17x9s with +35 offset will fit on the back of an FG with drag radials ?
  6. Thanks for your help. I did find another set of wheels. 17x9 with +35 offset. Have to decide which I want more lol.
  7. Going to run Et streets or NT05Rs on a 275. Car hasn't been lowered.
  8. Cheers mate. It seems that 17x9s with +35 offset only comes with wheels that have a 5x100 stud pattern. I may have to go with the 9.5s with +30 offset. Will they be ok ?
  9. Look at 17'' Rota Grid R to mount drag radials on. Would I need +12, +25 or +35 offset ?
  10. I had R1Rs on my G6ET previously. Awesome set of tyres.
  11. Wouldn't be worth the extra hassle to go to a GTX turbo ?
  12. Tailshaft has been built and installed. Racing time soon. :sungum:
  13. As everyone else has said, don't bother with this. When you're ready, go GTX, make 400 at the wheels and sh*t yourself.
  14. Any news regarding the date ?
  15. Dropped it down manually before I put the foot down. Hopefully racing it in June. If not June, then in July surely.
  16. Don't the plug in and play units keep the factory ECU and act as a "piggy back" style ECU ?
  17. Today, at 70kph, dropped it back to 2nd and nailed it, the thing started fishying... 400rwkw G6ET. EDIT: It does put the power down in third though. I use Nitto NT05s. Standard wheels.
  18. Like I said, I was using the 4 inch turbo side intake on the smaller fg turbo. When I was upgrading to a GTX, I went to Plazmaman and asked for a silicone hose to suit a GTX.
  19. Hypothetically speaking, would it worth someone's while to run an aftermarket ECU that can support a flex fuel sensor ? Wouldn't you then be able to go from Eflex to E85 from a barrel without changing the tune ? EDIT: Something like this
