  1. I know words are bull$h!+ without evidence so here you go engine change test drive evidence of auto failure built auto and custom converter setting up ext gate (handy having a bung motor laying around sometimes lol) bit of plumbing oxy sensor relocation gtx35 next to a standard unit kitted out with heat wrap and gate in its new home the noise maker plazmaman 2.5 inch hot side fabbed up a new intake to suit gtx comp stealth Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. combination of a lazy fuel pump and a bad driving attitude
  3. yeah mate you can slip the gtx "super core" into your BA/BF turbine housing.. oil/ water ports are all the same.. you'll need either a reducer from outlet of compressor to suit stock hot side or run a whole 2.5 inch hot side.. and your 4inch intake will go straight on the gtx 0.7 comp cover.. be sure to get it tuned or at least get AFR's checked as they do spool quicker and flow around 10% more than a gt series turbo
  4. been quite a while since I've been on here so it's time for an update... had an engine explosion about 2 years ago.. now have a built motor which comprises of: mahle pistons, argo h beam rods, acl bearings, cryogenicly frozen and ground crank, arp studs throughout, atomic main cap girdle, atomic valve springs, billet oil pump, ported and cc matched head, permaseal mls head gasket etc also had a transmission failure.. so I had the box built by tony at dominello racing transmissions with a 3000 rpm converter.. also done a few other mods here and there such as gtx 35 turbo 45mm tial etx gate dual entry rail turbo smart fpr 1200 reg 1000cc injectors nizpro plenum 2.5 inch hot side piping to suit outlet of gtx comp housing modified my surge tank to feed an additional 044 pump in the process of fabricating a custom low mount manifold and 4 inch exhaust back to the diff.. then off for a tune with united e85.. hoping to see around 470-500rwkw. questions and constructive criticism welcome
  5. that's quite possible.. where abouts do you live ? lol
  6. no he's not a wog.. it's Justin Gregory .
  7. just the dump pipe and a tune.. old mate stuffed me around a little with the plenum so I didn't end up getting one
  8. made 480 rwhp on 17 psi after the new tune on Monday at blacktrack performance
  9. booked in for a custom tune at blacktrack performance on the 20th february.. can't wait
  10. yeah it's fun to drive.. doesn't mind lighting up the 285s on the back haha few more mods to be done, aiming for 500-520 hp at the treads
  11. heres some pics of the ute.. engine bay. a pic from when I replaced the exhaust side welch plugs. and a pic of the 4" x-force dump pipe I recently fitted. (dump pipe had to be modified quite a bit to line up / fit up with the existing APS cat and full exhaust)
  12. do I need to use a computer to post pics. ?
  13. hey guys thought I would show you my new toy.. it was built by a guy who worked at autotech engineering.. I bought it basically how it is, with plans for more mods.. specs: BA mk11 XR6 ute, BF typhoon engine, built 4sp auto with 2800 stall, shift kit and external cooler. stock turbo (hi flowed with modified waste gate), 4" x force dump pipe to 3 1/2" stainless APS exhaust, APS fmic with cold side piping, APS cold air intake with battery re location kit, APS bov, under drive pulleys, 60 lbs injectors, external oil cooler, PWR alloy radiator and coolant tank, bosch 044 fuel pump with surge tank, AP racing 4 spot brakes with over size slotted rotors, billstein struts (f) billstein shocks ® with adjustable whiteline sway bars all round.. 19" ROH strada 3 piece wheels (staggered) I'm sure there is heaps of stuff I have forgot, but I will post it when I remember it.. before I changed the dump pipe it made 330 rwkw (442.5hp) on 15psi.. I have not yet had it tuned for the dump pipe because im thinking I might also add a forward facing plenum and larger throttle body. hope you enjoy, and I will post pics as soon as I figure out how to
