Cheers! Ive had 255's sit flush to the rim on the stock 19x8.0's Since 8.5 rims add 6.35mm per side to the rim width and a 265 Tyre will add 5.0mm (from 255) per side, I'm hoping it will work. But I guess first and foremost the rim itself clears suspension etc which is a start. Yours are 20x8.5's right?
As the title suggests does anyone have feedback on 20x8.5 Offset 36 with 265/30r20's all round??? ie, will they clear the front suspension? I'm chasing more grip but would like to keep away from staggered so I can rotate. FG F6-310 with SSL's all round PS, my tyre guy told me many 265's fir 8.5 quite well, ie flush with rim, has anyone done this??
would love to see the R-Spec enhancements (on the GT335 R-Spec) become standard in the 2014 FPV's. What the F6 needs most is grip. 350kw is more than achievable with simple tune and boost, so would be great to see those 2 enahncements with exterior and interior changes
I think ive isolated an anoying rattle (only audible from inside, on slightly bumpy roards) to loose pads in the calipers. The noise doesnt occur when on brakes. You can move the pads by hand. I had a mate do this while I sat inside and it sounds like this is the culprit. So what can I do? I know there are no shims, so I assume that's a start. What aboout the clips? where can I get new ones, or can I bend them to give more tension etc
Can anyone recommend where to get a tune in newcaste? Also someone who is good at diagnosing an annoying rattle from passenger side front wheel area (not suspension according to Pedders & Bowers)...
ok thanks! so far the downshift clunk seems better now the diff bushes are fixed as does the jolt/clunk on accelerartion. BUT I assume the jolt on acceleration isnt normal?
