  1. Kings springs told me the same thing
  2. Has anyone else solved this problem yet as I have the same problem in an FG F6 ute. Bad vibration and banging under hard acceleration up till 40-50kph but smooth as at any speed not under load. I replaced rubber coupling and center bearing and had a custom shaft made with uni's which fixed it for about a week till I raced it and it came back. It feels like a center bearing issue so I replaced which lessened the vibration quite a bit but did not eliminate it. Talked to Kings springs about it he seems to think it has been lowered to much as it has Pedders reset leafs but im not prepared to waste money on new springs as im not convinced this is it yet. Either way ford has done the worst engineering job with the driveline in these utes ive designed and built entire chassis and suspension systems with cars making much more power than this and never had so much dramas Has anyone else solved this?
  3. Ok cool that's good to know. What are they good for power wise? How much is the pipework to match?
  4. After reading this it would appear that the cooler I got is not a Process West as it is smaller than the stage 2 cooler at 410x360x90 approx. The rest of the cooler looks identical with the indents on the end tanks and OG mounting brackets. The only visual difference is the shorter height of the core.
  5. $600. It seems fairly thick especially next to the factory F6 and even the stepped PWR. It looks like a bit of cutting but at least it uses the factory mounts by the look of it.
  6. Can't really find much info on the stg 1 cooler even on the PW website. I have access to one which is to cheap to refuse but wondering if it can handle 400rwkw. PW gear looks to be awesome quality but would like to know more about the capabilities of this cooler.
  7. What would be the power limit of the stock F6 injectors?
  8. Fuel pump and surge tank aren't needed to start with for around 320-330rwkw is it?
  9. Thanks for all the reply's and info.I think I will just give it a go with the PWR. Should probably decide which tuner to use and maybe run it past them.
  10. Ok cool. I realise turbine housing, injectors and valve springs would be the next mods to get it to the 400rwkw mark was wondering if the PWR cooler would support this level of power as PWR rates it at over 400rwkw but from all I've read on here people are not to sure about it. Just a little confused. I prefer to use PWR as I've used their products before and like them plus added bonus of no hacking up the car.
  11. Hi. I have just purchased a 08 F6 ute and keen to start modifying it already. Seems to be lot of info about the type of mods im considering but to many options of parts to use. Im considering the following as a start. PWR stepped cooler because price and fittment Alloy replacement piping. Not sure of brand Herrod, Plasmaman, coolerworx? 4 inch Xforce dump and exhaust again because of good price SS Growler intake X3 flash tune and maybe the ZF tune by either C&V or Tunehouse as both have good reps Im assuming this should get me easy 320-330rwkw but will these mods support 400rwkw when I decide to go further with more mods? Any help would be great or any other suggestions.
