Hey guys, I've had a mate who's got a 335GT engine and drivetrain he's looking to get rid of and I'm wondering if it's possible to throw it into my BA? it would come with the ecu and dif as well. I know it's a big job and most likely not possible but if it is I'd be doing it.... Any idea's? BTW if there's a thread already open on this I can't find it.....

RACV aren't too concerned with mods as long as they're legal, the main concern is the actual financial interest in the vehicle.... You wouldn't be able to insure a vehicle that's worth $25,000 for $50,000...... It's a matter of what you want back. So if you plan on spending $25k on mods there is very little chance you're going to recover all of that if the cars written off. As for the repairer it's always been you're own choice as long as I can remember.

I'm doing some research into upgrading my BA turbo's transmission to the 6 speed manual and I'm not sure where to start or who's reputable in the VIC south eastern suburbs. What's a rough price for the full conversion? does the diff and clutch need to be replaced as well? Any advice would be appreciated

Hey guys, I'm currently driving a BA XR6t and im thinking of upgrading to a BF F6..... It's purely an aesthetic thing, I prefer the look and the interior and I think they'll keep their value much better. Another reason is I'm tired of the 5 speed manual gearbox..... Is there a price range to look for as well?

I've pretty much got the exact same problem atm.... I'm looking at getting the atomic replacement springs within the next couple of weeks, if you have any luck with the xr8 springs make sure you post it!

yup....Not much use stressing over it now though.... the cars still driveable (If taken easily) so I'll ring around first thing after new years.. I'll def's give JD customs a ring Nomis!

Just had the car checked out at Vidottos in seaford to check the piping.... They cant seem to find the issue... The turbo is definitely still spooling but I'll need to get it onto a dyno to isolate the problem, can anyone recommend a decent mechanic in the seaford area with a dyno?

It's a sentinel warranty through national, I did a double take when I found out as well..... As for the piping issue if I can do it without voiding the warranty does anyone have any recomendations?

APS Exhaust APS injectors APS tune Silicone coolant hoses Hyper Flow intercooler It's not missing at all or overheating, just the loss of boost and the sound. Would it be recommended to upgrade the piping (as long as the warranty company doesn't have a fit)?

Hi Guys I'm new to the Xr6 turbo Scene and I've just purchased an 03 ba xrt and I was driving home last night when I lost around 4psi of boost (Boost Gauge Reading) and a sound that's probably best described as a whooshing..... the car's got a warranty on it so I dont wanna start playing around with the piping on it.... Does anyone have any idea as to what it could be?
