Thanks for the clarification. I live with 2 30y/o women (who act like they're 12). Theyve gone for a walk now, but I'm stuck at home because I left both pairs of thongs that I own in the boot of my car :( now all I want to do right now is go to 7-11.

Have ended up at home on the couch, not at the beach as planned. And I can't even go for a walk down to the river, because pith pairs of thongs I own are in my car :( how can such a lovely day suck so much?

I've taken the Friday after Australia day off, so I'm going to go up to lake eppalock for a few days of drinking and waterskiing.

Ah awesome. I just found out what was wrong with mine - theres a rubber bush and bearing that sits around the tailshaft, but on my car its broken. My mechanic apologised for the high quote to get it fixed ($320 inc labour) but that's pocket change compared to what the mazda used to cost me when it broke.

If you go to Torquay and need/like/want surfwear, theres a great 2nds shop on Baines cres. Its all ripcurl, quicksilver etc, and its all samples/last seasons stuff, for bugger all. I got two bikini sets from there for $40, and they're normally $90 a piece (as an example...)

Think I'm going to go back up to the lake this weekend. No sand (except around the jumping castle) but plenty of friends with speed boats...Im determined to get up on slalom this summer, and learn to wakeboard.

Can't think of anyone who hates me enough to sabotage my car... Finally made it to work. Was also the scariest drive I have ever been on. (I was less scared during a hot lap @ sandown in a v8 Supercar) And we spent the entire drive listening to Indonesian pop music...yet neither of us speak indo.

Well he finally returned my calls. He realized he'd forgotten me when he showed up at work and I wasn't there. Only takes 20 min to get to work from Moonee ponds/Maidstone, and I've been trying to get in contact with him for an hour. Damnit. I want my car back!

I'm meant to be at work right now but instead I'm sitting at home, on the couch, waiting for my ride to come pick me up. He's not answering his phone, and I get the feeling he's completely forgotten. I would get on a bus/tram/train, but there is no public transport out to where I work. And I can't drive myself because my mechanic has my car! I want to either be at work getting things done, or back in bed sleeping. Not just waiting. /whinge
