Almost all my new furniture was delivered yesterday, and Dre and I spent the afternoon and evening assembling it. Just waiting on one more piece. I now have somewhere to sit, and somewhere to put my tv. yay.

I live out west. I resent this comment. SHP, I hope your friend is found. That sounds horrible :( Fluff, nothing wrong with being friends with a stripper. Though I am surprised they still make money seeing as there are a lot of girls out there who will do the same thing at clubs for free.

Yeh it is. I only have to think about it once every three years. Will be getting it replaced early next year.

spotted Dre's old car in the costco carpark on saturday.

western ring road and metro ringroad. roadworks almost the whole way. The last time I had to drive on it at this time it took me an hour from derrimut to tulla.

that I have to drive from derrimut to campbellfield in peak hour traffic just to sign the paperwork for my furniture. its times like these I wish I owned an auto. Not looking forward to this drive.

got my finance approval yay! my furniture gets delivered thursday.

Went to buy new furniture on saturday, but the finance approval system was down. Called them today - its still not working. Maybe tomorrow. I need this furniture! I have no couch.

I tried one in the suburb I was living in at the time (not a nice suburb), and didnt like them. The accountant barely spoke to me. But my housemate the next year recommended the H & R block she went to, which was in a much nicer and wealthier suburb. They actually asked me heaps of questions to work out what I could claim (like driving to the accountant...those K's can be deducted. I didnt know that).

I just went to an H&R Block in a decent suburb. They managed to get me back more than I was expecting, because they knew I could claim things that I didnt realise I could.

Ouch. Speed cameras arent preventative. You dont even realise you've done something wrong til almost a month after the incident. A mechanic was done for speeding months ago in my car, and the only reason I was able to get them to take the fine was because I had an invoice dated the same day from them. More police out there would be better. I know I was speeding, but everyday on that stretch of road I see people cutting others off, driving half in the next lane, road raging others on the road, driving too slow... dont they need to be pulled up for their bad behaviour too? Or is the person who doesnt head check and merges into a truck (happened the other day - shut down 3 of the 4 lanes available) less of a danger on the road than me going 5 over?
