Guy at work dropped his car off at a dealership today for a service, and within 10 minutes of him leaving the dealership, they called him to let him know that a tow truck had come through their carpark, and hit his car. When he got back there he found that not only had they hit his car, the tray of the tow truck had caught the bumper of his navara, had lifted it up and dumped it on the bonnet of a brand new passat. he's not impressed. the tow truck had no insurance.

I'll still be applying. I know im not in the easiest industry for a woman to get ahead, but I plan on trying anyway. This is just really frustrating, as they've been talknig about me stepping up to category management for ever a year now, but theres always an excuse for why we cant do it now every time I ask. I've been here close on three years now. In the meantime im going to keep trying to weasel my way into category reviews. I've a pretty good idea on how they're done, but want to be properly part of one for once, instead of being the person googling product images for the presentation.

Just got told lack of experience. They need someone who can do category reviews. I've been trying to get involved with all the category reviews we're doing, but keep getting told "nows not the time". Oh and I need to harden up apparently. Too emotional. I've no idea how to change that.

Was told a couple of months ago that when time came for a certain category manager resigned from his position (hes opening his own store) that I would be offered his job. Now that he has handed in his resignation, I find out they're advertising for someone else to take over his role. Not happy. Waiting for merch manager to get off the phone so I can ask why.
