People who prioritise personal phone calls over work phone calls.

Had an interesting phone call earlier. The receptionist put a call through to me, telling me she had someone on the phone who was interested in supplying us product. Said she hadnt told him who she was putting the call through to - just that it would be someone within my department. I take the call, and the guy goes "hi, I was on hold for someone in the merchanside department" Me: "yes, that would be me Him: "oh...I thought I'd be speaking to a guy." I've been putting up with this for years. My own fault for going into this industry I guess. but people I email assume I'm male based on my name, and get the shock of their life when they call, or when they do call for the first time, they assume I'm the receptionist.

You want guys to blow you? or you want to blow guys? Im confused.

The bookface app took my list of groups I participate in, and replaced it with a list of groups I have interest in any more. The ones I usually post in I cant find :( Anyone know how to fix this???

It's just sitting there tempting me :( I don't use a mouse pad. Seems to be more annoying than using the desk.

Was given a bottle of wine as a present this morning. It's sitting on my desk. With the day I'm having, I'm tempted to open it.

The thunder, too! Was so loud last night.

I have the rod thing in my arm too. Has been fine, except for the phantom pregnancy it caused last year. No baby...but all the symptoms.

The girls who organised last years wouldn't tell anyone where we were going, and made us get on a bus to get there. So we were stuck there til they decided it was time to leave. Taxi home from there wasnt really an option, as it was too far out. It pissed a lot of people off, which is why I made sure this years party was in the city. We had to finish it at 11, but that meant that if people were catching public transport, they could still get home, and those that wanted to continue partying were in the same area as a heap of bars and clubs.
