  1. Super pissed off, my leasing company won't let me take it on the track as insurance won't cover it... *sigh*
  2. Anyone out and about tonight? I'm going for a sqiz down to harrys at about 7-ish.
  3. Look forward to seeing you all there, you can spot me by the "RUG" number plate or if it looks likes one of those wankers with a massive super bright flash coming from his camera I don't bite, come and say boo.
  4. Mrs permitting, I am very keen on a cruise and meeting some forum members
  5. So who's heading out to Lakeside this Sunday?
  6. No one has seen the RUG yet haha I've spotted a white F6 around my area and another in either Black or Vanish hauling ASS down Dohyles Rocks Road at Kallangur... love that burble on gear change in the auto
  7. Was very skeptical however I can confirm this transforms the premium sound and it now lives up to its name. Such a simple fix, I was amazed their quality control is so poor. As for the plug, there is the big clip on the bottom of the plug however there are also two tabs that need to be pressed down to release the wires from the front of the plug. I found a little eye glasses screwdriver did the trick.
  8. Interior, boost and brembos did it for me... and the zf gearbox. After driving a v8 for a couple of years the Turbo made driving a different kind of fun. My Mrs drives it and its smooth as anything, unless you mash the loud pedal.
  9. Popping down tonight for a look around, anyone else going?
  10. I ran a k&n in the v8 I used to have and it never fouled the maf, anyhow, apologies all, I managed to steer the thread well off topic.
  11. Uneducated guess here, but wouldn't you damage the engine if the TPS failed due to say running too lean?
  12. It went in for a new diff pinion seal today so will ask again when I pick it up. I'm probably just being paranoid but the last thing I want to do is void warranty, especially when it comes to motors, turbos and drive train components. First time owning a new car so a bit overly cautious.
  13. Once the warranty runs out I will. Bought a k&n filter however Ford advised if I put it in then engine warranty would go bye bye as I'm not a mechanic. Furthermore, if it fouled the TPS then same deal, no warranty. I'm as scared of loosing warranty as the Mrs giving me hell, see I wasn't going to mod this one... hahahah Long term I'd like to upgrade intercooler piping, intake, hi flow cat and a tune.... oh and a better sound system, premium sound isn't worth its salt. Hopefully the end result would be a safe 300rwkw
  14. So when is the next cruise in seq planned?
  15. 2011 FG F6 #0256 Euro IV update - auto - vanish Fyi - they did restart the numbers with the euro IV update, I know this after a lengthy battle without fpv to get the build numbers. Will post up the email I got when I get to work tomorrow with total build numbers (around 420ish from memory)
  16. Thanks for the kind words all she's my baby and while in retrospect a house would have been a better investment, you only live once and it always brings a smile when that boost needle flicks to life. Saw the colour on the showroom floor and thought it was black until the dealer said to take a closer look, blew me away when I saw it in sunlight for the first time. Pain to keep clean though!
  17. Nope, I'm Grandpa Spec on here and Grandpa_Spec_F6 (nee: Grandpa_Spec_AU) over on AFF. Never owned a BF.
  18. Scored it late last year for the same price as the non-leather, non-extras models as it had 3000km already. One of the Ford bigwigs had been driving it around as his company car and since FGII was around the corner, had handed it in. A number of factors came into buying it, mainly that I wanted a safe family car that doubled as my weekend fun. My work allows me to salary sacrafice so as an added bonus I get things like fuel, tyres, servicing, loan etc with a heafty tax reduction, saving me a few grand extra per year. Sad part is my fiancee drives it more than I do!
  19. I snapped up my EuroIV update for $58k inc leather, floor matts etc.
  20. FG F6 - Vanish, ZF Auto, Leather, 7500kms, 21 years old
