Masda, have a look into activating the new Mantle option in Video options, this puts less stress on the CPU and a little more on the Vcard. I find the CPU is the main thing that bottlenecks fps in this game. Even my high end 4770k cpu gained 20+fps from the tiny overclock to 4.2ghz. You need the AMD 14.1 beta drivers to access the Mantle option (Instead of DX11) in the options. Az, $600 for a monitor! I have 27" and don't really wanna go backwards. Will it make me instantly as good as you? Lol

If staying at 400 1x044+surge should be fine. If going 450+ look at adding an 044 and also putting a walbro 400lph or similar intank in.

All of them, just depends on which server we join. Someone should set up a teamspeak or whatever people use these days for us all to jump on and chat during the game, hard trying to organize everything and see who's playing through text.

+1 with Kosij Rev hunting is a possible symptom of ZF milkshake if you don't have an external trans cooler. I'd check you coolant overflow tank for colour and substance

Far out 4.6 is alot haha. My 4770k is overclocked to 4.2ghz, just using the overclocking tool with motherboard. Just click a button lol. I installed one of those Corsair H110 water cooler units, took about 5 mins, mount up and plug in, no maintenance. If air con is on core temps wont get to 40 degress in bf4, with no air con on in house won't get to 60. The stock heatsink hits about 80 degrees with stock clocks haha.

I just set everything to max haha. I don't even have a ssd. Was a fresh W8.1 install though.

I use a 6GB AMD 7990 dual gpu card with a 4770k and have no issues. Run max settings @ 1080p and see 120-200fps usually. For those ~5 rounds I get to play every 6 months or so

Because it's running ~470rwkw and I fancy my engine with only 30,000kms and valve springs done (soon to be built) over the one with 150k+ kms and stock that I will most likely get on a $15-20k g6et. Will be changing over built zf, custom tailshaft, full fuel system etc etc so I may as well. Don't wanna keep the engine in the g6e, retune, have it pop, then have to build and fit again and retune again. Poor man pays twice!

Alright sounds like that will be the go then, as far as a dyno tune, should my current tune flashed to the new ecu not work the same with all the same running gear? Or can the body throw something out?

Would this be the same if I bought a g6e turbo? I was hoping to retain the reverse sensors/dual climate etc with the g6e ICC

Would any of those modules be in the engine or driveline though? (I know BEM is body electrics but not sure where that is)

Oh ok, does that apply say if you bought a built engine too? Obviously if I buy a car to swap everything into the ICC will be in there, I was just hoping to swap everything and flash the new ecu with tune. What part that I'm swapping is the ecu linked to?

Excuse me if silly question but why would you need to swap ECU?

Hey Guys, Excuse me if this is in the wrong place, wasn't sure. As some of you may have seen in the "What's pissing you off today" thread I've had the very unfortunate event where I've hit a patch of oil in my pride and joy at powercruise and gone into the concrete wall with driver's side at about 80kph. I can barely stand to look at the car but from what we've gathered (haven't had it properly check yet): - Only passenger rear door opens properly - Most panels are destroyed - Both wheels on driver's side are destroyed - front driver's wheel does what it wants (broken suspension?) - Windscreen, bonnet, boot etc all gone. As far as I know mechanically all seems ok. Engine/turbo/gearbox/intercooler all look untouched. Turned it off straight away, coolant hose on cold side snapped both ends that's about all we could see with a tiny look. (Apart from small cosmetic things like hot side air box squashed etc) Selling isn't going to do much considering how much I've spent on all the parts. What I'm thinking is getting maybe a cheaper g6e with some luxeries and swapping everything over (driveline, engine, brakes, fuel system, intercooler etc) Has anyone done this or know how much work/problems/money is involved in the swap? Will be doing as much of the swap as possible myself. Also will a turbo/non turbo g6e make any difference if only keeping body? Coming from a 2010 xr6t sedan. Thanks in advance! Hurting bad here :(

Last day of powercruise, was going beautifully all weekend. First lap out after previous lot got pulled off for oil spill from a car all over track. Hit a patch half way through 3rd and instant 180 and went into concrete wall with drivers side at about 80kph. Devastated. No insurance on track. Knew the risks of the event though, just sh*t piece of luck. Life goes on. Nfi what I'm going to do with car.
