I seriously doubt if someone wanted a track car that they would buy a Expensive Daewoo or ford at all haha. High powered bricks are more famed for powersliding a corner than getting round it fast. I'd buy an R34 GT-R if I wanted a track car, but I'd miss the fun of my overpowered brick so much!

I didn't see it say rwkw anywhere? The GTS is rated at 325 flywheel kw from factory, he is wondering why there is such a big loss at the rear wheels compared to a F6 310. Explain to him that he'll need a supercharger and/or stroker kit to keep up with a ford turbo 6 (modified of course)

Got my HID kits from eBay this morning overnight postage Installed them both today, Hi/Los and Foggies, already have all the parker/interior lights. Looks great, quality seems pretty good, excellent customer service, can't say much for how long they last yet but will update in time. Now just need to adjust tomorrow so I don't do any serious long term damage to the eyes of passing motorists.

900/week is pretty standard/average wage for a fully qualified sparky. Few more qualifications (Level 2 etc.) and you could land a job that pays a fair bit more than that. Hell, Integral 3rd year apprentices get 25/hour, nearly the base tradesman rate at my employment. Makes me wish I went through that massive process to apply for an apprenticeship there. Doh.

What kit have you used? On eBay as well? The kits offered from the contact that a lot of the guys in this thread have purchased from are actually cheaper than that. Only looking at these as I wanted to play around with them this long weekend, with overnight postage.

Make that 2 I'm still a 3rd year sparky. Probably earned nearly double my base salary last year though with overtime.

Thanks Mate. 265 Semi's on the back , 245 street tyres on front (8.5 inch front) That's how I bought it not long ago, going to change the rears over to some 275-285 street tyres and save the semi's for strip.
