  1. Yeah mate my stock tune wouldn't even run before I put the battery charger on, it would have been the same problem, next time just hook up a battery charger (I only left mine around 40mins) and then return to stock, then put the custom tune back in. I'm scared to ever change it when I'm not at home now.
  2. Ahh ok, yeah I know that one Street tune is a custom tune on mine though, just a bit more sedate than race.
  3. Thanks boys, worked a treat! Massive load of stress off my back. Why shouldn't I use street tune with aftermarket injectors?
  4. Thanks Boys, Will give that a go and then report back.
  5. Read a few older threads and it sounds like it could be not enough battery voltage, I hope I haven't wrecked it by trying to return it to stock already :/ I can't let the battery charge as it idles like a dog at stock will all the mods and don't want to break anything.
  6. Alright, Today I decided to try my RaceTune, so I loaded it up and it all ran fine. Later decided I wanted StreetTune back for now as I was having traction issues. Halfway through the process it came up with "Error 1034: Could not download, please return to stock if car does not start" I then tried returning to stock as said, and it also came up with the error in the returning to stock process, after the ENGINE process had loaded. "1034: Could not load" (May not be exact wording) Now the car runs really rough on start up and I'm afraid to move it. I realise I'm going to need to call SCT or Tunehouse, but I'm posting it up on here tonight in-case anyone has a fix before tomorrow! Thanks heaps! Tom EDIT: 2010 FG Xr6 Turbo Sedan in-case it's needed.
  7. Fixed it! For anyone interested or for some useful info if it happens to you, The cable from the pull switch (open bonnet) under the steering wheel was run behind the bracket supporting the top of the intercooler forcing it to enter the latch at an angle therefore not tightening the cable enough. What I did was remove the latch mechanism and had the cable run in front of the bracket so it enters the mech straight. (picture shows the result after I ran the cable in front)
  8. Not trying to condemn or tell either of you what to do but I sure hope you don't live in NSW (Don't know the laws in other states), because if you happened to be pulled over for an RBT, or get scanned with rego scanners that most HWP are now fitted with (which also brings up insurance), it's a $1700ish fine and 7 demerits, which I believe will see you off the road for 6 months, a court date and disqualified license (which means starting the 3-year provisional period again). Not worth it for any reason in the world. I bought mine with ~80 days until I had my full licence and just drove a crappy VW as an a to b car while I waited. Best decision I've made, feels a lot better driving it when you don't have to look over your shoulder every 5 seconds. Just my 2 cents.
  9. I believe it varies but normally it should peak at 10PSI or less
  10. That's an extremely impressive time there Glouva, especially with the 359rwkws you had then. I think I might follow your techniques!
  11. I accidently won one of those SoundRacer ciggarette lighter things out of an icebreak competition. Used it on the family vw bora, funning watching people's expressions at lights when it sounds like a old school throbbing V8
  12. I temporarily just hooked it onto the negative of the battery (mines relocated), just slipped it on with a separate nut I got impatient.
  13. Ah man that's a bummer, didn't particularly want to go through all that. Too much showboating opening and closing the bonnet I guess?
  14. Hey Guys, After going for a short drive today I realised that the bonnet was slightly open, not locked in right at the bottom. The bonnet was opened and closed before I left with no dramas. I haven't looked into it much yet, must be something to with the mechanism not locking in after in the closed position. By the way there is definitely nothing blocking the way of the bonnet. Has this happened to anyone else? Cheers, Tom
  15. Yeah mate I recommend getting the 6000k, 8000k is very blue and would attract a lot of unwanted attention.
  16. Yeah that's right. Different size front / rear. Yeah I like them too, mine are in silver. Only problem is how it will look after coilovers/lowering at 18". Guess I'll just have to find out!
  17. Howdy All, Currently I have 18" Lenso D1R rims on my FG, 8.5" fronts and 9.5" rears. I like the kinda dished look and don't mind them , but I can't help being suckered in to that sleek aggressive look that the dark argents give off, even though they are about as rare as a chevy badge to a Expensive Daewoo SS. Also, I've been told it takes a fair bit of lowering on an FG to make 18's look good lowered I was wondering how comparable in value are the staggered 18" D1Rs and the staggered 19" Dark Argents (Sticking to 19 for tyre price and traction). If anyone wants to swap I'd be more than happy to Want to work out some rough prices to see if it's worth the hassle or not. Thanks!
  18. I see heaps. Western Sydney area.

I have pretty much the same mods on mine cept catback and the bigger turbo. I don't really want to upgrade to the bigger turbo yet because I'm still getting used to this power haha. Your's would be an adrenaline rush though! What are the major differences to the stock ZF with the tune? and how much was it if you don't mind me asking?
  20. I saw your run - good time for a stocker! Time to start modding

    Next Meet

NSW pride I'm pretty keen to go for a few cruises and meet a few of you guys, I also know of at least 2 other people owning ford Ts (not on forums) who want to cruise. I'm available any weekend or day off after May 7th. NSW needs to pick its game up!
  22. I snapped a video of him - although unfortunately it was on his third run and only managed 11.7 with a lot of wheel spin :(
  23. I'll be there - only spectating tonight though. Hope we do see a few XRs out there.
