  1. Hey Guys, When I started the car up this afternoon the check engine light was on and stayed on till I got home - it drove fine. I ran diagnostic and got the code P1132 (I think) which was the o2 sensor. I called up tunehouse but unfortunately Jim is on holidays - it was only retuned a few weeks ago. I erased the code and started it up again and it didn't come back on, is this something I should be stressing about? As my tuner isn't back until mid October. Car is a 2010 fg xr6t High flow cat/ 4 inch dump (std catback) Injectors Surge tank + 044 Cooler + piping Battery relo Thanks guys.
  2. I'm in. I live at the bottom of the blue mountains so convenient for me!
  3. SSL /SSSL 18s On a weird slope looks heaps better flat
  4. *Hides* In all seriousness though it was a tragedy and I can't begin to imagine how it has effected those involved and their families

Yeah, not a fan, but this one goes alright! Make sure you watch ultimate slide at 5:55.
  6. Great cruise, looking forward to the next! Wow your photo came out great Sam, I don't know if mine are worth putting up now but I will in case anyone wants to steal any.
  7. Also bout to wash beast! Excite.
  8. Who's keen for the cruise ?? I know I am! Can't believe only 8 or so people put their hands up, come on NSW !
  9. Is $200 pretty much the going price for painting them ? Would love me one of these bonnets
  10. Just completed 1100km trip to qld, car seems to be running fine but I'm pretty paranoid now. The tailshaft wasn't a warranty part, I had to pay for it.
  11. Asked. Already binned. Obviously on purpose but was fed up at that point and left never to look back.
  12. $1400 later and I have my car back. I had no other choice as I needed it TODAY and could not afford arguing the point as I had no evidence and they were doing it all today with a slightly discounted price as a result of some stern words from someone who is better at being demanding than me, I'm too nice haha. Will definitely not be taking it back to that dealer at all. The service was reasonably good, but the work was terrible and I think we all know that it was probably broken in a way other than how they told me. All in all, I finally get to go on my QLD trip that I have been planning and postponing due to car for so long, and origin is tonight! Relieved, and very thankful for all your help and advice! Cheers, Tom
  13. I'd just dropped it for another flush, they were just going to move the car into the workshop apparently. The service manager has rang, was the tailshaft, they are trying to get the part in and changed for me today.
  14. Could be tailshaft, I'll find out as soon as they open. Either way I don't have much of a leg to stand on with my mods . I just hope they can get it in today.
  15. No mate, I have no idea. I find it hard to believe a new input shaft blew up on startup though. Tune was left on street tune, they were only flushing the system out. I got it back Monday night, has driven 40kms. (Dealer-home, home-dealer). Have babied it from paranoia.
  16. They want to charge me 1500+ fitting for another so I'm assuming they mean input shaft. Which should have been a new one with box right?
  17. Ok WTF . Just got a call, they went to start the car and the gearshaft has blown up. #!$@#$#@!$#@! The car has 9000kms.
  18. Wouldn't say happy mate, but not much of a choice at the moment, this holiday leave has been set back 3 times farking up my working life, my girlfriends and the guys at work, I can't stuff them around again. I'll look into getting them to replace the header tank and all hoses if residual fluid is still there after flush and tip. I don't mean to come across careless I've just been under so much stress to make this work, I'll take any excuse to have a break and just drive it on the trip. Edit: When I talk to the service manager tomorrow to ensure those parts get replaced after I return from my trip. Bionic may I have permission to use your comments as an anonymous source from another detailing what should be done?
  19. Alright, here's how it went down. The header tank / coolant hoses weren't changed over as it isn't needed apparently. They did flush it through twice and road test it. The ford service boys ASSURE me that some residual fluid is completely normal and will have absolutely no negative effect on the cooling system. It is only in the cooling system, not the transmission lines, and all the oil was flushed out correctly, it's just residual from the hoses. They have guaranteed me that it is not a problem at all, you just have to drive it out, they have seen it many times before. I insisted that they take it again tomorrow and give it another big flush out just for piece of mind, since I'll be going on a 2000km round trip to QLD on Thursday. I'm fairly relieved with the positive information they gave me, and they seem to know exactly what is happening from experience. They were also more than happy to do the flush tomorrow for me. If anything goes wrong, It'll be up for them at warranty again, but I'm confident that what they have told me is correct.
