It spools up mate you should notice it kicking in a couple of seconds into acceleration

Nah racebrakes are 2850 for a 4 piston set.

Awesome write up bud! Amatuer question but is there any issue with wasting oil or will it not come out not under pressure? I'd like to replace mine , easy enough to do at home?

That's what I've heard Steve ^ They curve with the disc I'm not even sure if it's that great of a deal haha.. full brand new 6 piston set with genuine pads, mounts and lines for $2k, just need rotors. In comparison the 4 piston kit (with rotors) works out 2900 from racebrakes, so almost the same after rotors for 6s

But I'm fairly sure they are no wider but longer. In my case width is not a problem but length may be?

I also had to change my cold side to larger with him, did you inlet temps start jumping when more boost put in? That's what happened with my 2.75" cold side, showed me the graphs and all. Changed to 3inch and netted alot more but also changed to eflex so can't really tell how much difference it made!

Hey Guys, I've got a limited offer from someone for some brand new fg 6 piston brembos at a good price and I need to confirm this weekend. I test fitted my 18" Lenso D1Rs today over a set of 4 piston brembos and there is miles of clearance to the spokes but only about 3mm at the ends of the caliper to the rim, maybe closer to 1-2 as the wheel weights come past. Can anyone definitively tell me if 6 pistons will be an issue? I've heard if I can fit 4s I can fit 6s but still skeptical. Would ring racebrakes but its a weekend. Here's a few pics to help:

Joe took it home first night to put some kms on it, tbh I haven't noticed it doing anything strange so far! Shifts and changes exactly when it should so I think once we put the tune in it in a couple weeks she'll be perfect! I'll be hitting the strip as soon as I get some brakes under the front that will let me stall her up! Someone hook me up! Haha.

Yeah fine so far, has new solenoids so has to re learn everything. Take it back in 500kms to fine tune it once its run in.
