  1. Problem solved! U-bolts that wrap around the diff, I put loctite on them And tightened them up completely Amazing how many turns I got out of them! Lesson learned. Inspect your pride after another one has done work on it! Then again this could be wear and tear. Thanks all for the support and suggestions ! Glen
  2. Thanks for all the feedback much appreciated! I will investigate tonight and post my findings!
  3. Thanks rowdy! Ill look into it ill chuck it on the hoist tommorow arvo, Freaky - doesn't creek when doing that so that should rule out shockers correct? Pauly - I also tried that to no avail :-/
  4. I'm in Melbourne Victoria, :(
  5. Any moving motion from standstill to throttle creaks Breaking at lights the last movement of the at before it stops It creaks, I suspected bushes but which ones is the question Both of your questions I would say it creaks 100% positive on straight back I assume it does the same whilst turning? Since it dies it when I turn in a forward motion
  6. G'day all. Over a year ago my BF xr6 ute was lowered at A Pedders suspension store, Front and rears, around 6 months after it, it began To creek in the rear upon throttle or rolling then braking, It comes and goes as it pleases, They've been unhelpful (Pedders) as they always Say there booked out when I go in. So ill hit it on the head my self It's a horrible noise Generally in the rain it goes away but sure does come back! Thanks for any help provided
  7. Thanks Wenier, Everything about my ute has been modified by my self, Interior that houses Double Din DVD screen To stainless steel grills top and bottom, I'm a fabricator, so nothing is impossible just things pose obstacles
  8. I basically want added storage, Where I'm able to store multiple items and lock them in there That are out if sight, and look nice, I'm not fond of having tool boxes lying around that can be pinched. So I wanted to modify that Step, just cut a rectangle dimension out the top Drop the two fabricated cases in there, Sikaflex to seal and screw down. Recarpet the lid so it's appealing, If its too much hassle or poses a risk to the vehicles structure/safety I'll need to work something else out.
  9. Hey Guys and Girls! Just curious and need to ask, I've fabricated some stainless steel storage boxes that I hope to mount behind my seats in my ute, It's a 2006 BF xr6, The location desired for these 2 facilities is that Step up just before the back of the cab wall, I want to cut a section out the top and drop These boxes in , and recarpet over the lid so it looks nice and neat. Just curious to know if anyone knows what's underneath the step, Wire lumes etc or if its even possible to do so? Feedback appreciated! Cheers!
