  1. to be honest, I like the looks at the front of the car, but the rear looks crap. I would rather fork out for a camaro..........
  2. bamk2f6tornado, if you really want, you can add me to your friends list in steam. Then when I am playing, you can right click on my name and select watch game. Yes you can watch my stream if you want.
  3. fark I have a long way to go. I know that most basements have power generators and you can grab the fusion cores, but I just find it difficult to find enough. it seems that my cores deplete to fast during fast travel. strange. I haven't found the railway headquarters yet, so I haven't even started those quests. Joy. I Haven't even found robots yet. fark I am wasting too much time hoarding lol. I have only recently found good neighbour, but haven't done any missions there. I am with the paladin's now and their big airship has recently landed. I got a new power armor suit which rocks, but it is now parked at the CASTLE! Super mutants get taken out at a distance with the sniper rifle because of the kamikaze suicide bombers..... I am staying away from death claw territory as much as possible. I avoid them all together. Diamond city has good missions and I have been doing them with much weirdness. Ooooooohhh the illuminati.
  4. I don't have enough points for the luck Special, which means I cant get the mysterious man. I would have to spend 2 more points on luck to get that perk. Right now my priorities are on the gun nut. I still have not completed a few of the paledin's quests to get the righteous laser rifle. Quick hands under agility would allow you to reload fast enough with the shotgun. There is also an automatic shotgun, if you are lucky enough to find it. however my biggest issue with this is that there is not enough ammo laying around for it. I only have something like 239 shots available. the auto shotgun goes through that pretty fast. Hey, I know your frustrations in regards to building Appartment blocks. If you are familiar with minecraft, then you wouldn't have an issue. I never played minecraft, so it sh*ts me to no end. However, I have found that if you use prefabricated building blocks instead, you won't have much issues. The prefabricated blocks allow you to snap to the correct position a lot easier than the walls or floors. All my appartments have a single start for the base. I use the stairs from the wood-> pre fab-> floors and then look for stairs. I use that as a single support structure for the rest of the building. it is funny how the whole building is support by this single stair case. Why do I do this? I like to keep the building off the floor. The first floor is all an open area with no walls at all. Why? so that when I place all my turrets there, they have an open view 360 degrees. No enemy is gonna sneak in. they have to get through the first floor to make it to the second. Second floor is where all the beds are. Third floor or should I say the roof is where I place my generators and settlement beacon. Screw lights. If you want lights to work, they have to be near the generators. My main settlement was sanctuary, but I have since changed it to "The Castle". I don't think there is any benefit to it, but it could possibly become more clear later on in the game. Possibly less travel time between locations? One more tip for everyone. If you don't have the locksmith perk and want to get that gun at vault 111 at the exit? Take dogmeat with you the where the gun is locked and get him to sniff for any valuables and he will actually open the lock for you. Free weapon.
  5. fark I though I lost it today. I honestly thought I was going to be a patient at Greylands cause I could find the thread I started. So someone pulled a sneaky and merged threads by the looks of it and kept my thread title. If you have never played Fallout 4, it can be freakin confusing. However, if you watch a few videos on Youtube, you might get a better idea. If you really want to spend 2 hours watching how to play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbZtSoJtir0
  6. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/91462-who-is-playing-fallout-4-what-strategy-are-you-using/ There ya go. post ya tip in there.
  7. I thought it would be better to start a separate thread for this? Who out there is playing fallout 4? If you are, what strategy are you using in regards to the SPECIAL and Perks? Any Tips that you may have? I only figured this out once I got to level 17. I wish I had know about it earlier, but I was lucky that it didn't affect my initial choices at the beginning that I had to restart the game from the start. Depending on how many stars or points you assign to each S.P.E.C.I.A.L is how far down the chain under that special, you will be able to unlock the perk. So this image shows you all the Specials at the top and the Perks under each one: http://aggrogamer.com/assets/153021843456045aa3ec7bf.JPG This picture actually shows you the names of each special and the perks under them. It also shows the amount of stars you can spend on each one and what they entitle you to" http://aggrogamer.com/assets/153021843456045aa3ec7bf.JPG In the previous games I chose to hide and sneak a lot and steal. I got to the point where I got sick of loosing my fights and decided to start from scratch using brute force and heavy machinery. This time around I decided to invest in Charisma and strength. This seems to have done me well as I am able to hoard a lot and carry heaps of junk. Under the Strength Special. I have reached level 27 and so at this point in time, I can not get all 4 stars under the strong back perk. Well worth having this if you hoard a lot. I have also invested in Armorer to make my own armor. Under Perception Special I use the sniper rifles alot and so Rifleman is a good perk to have. Sniper along with rifleman perk work well together. Since I hoard a lot I also am investing in locksmith to unlock doors and safes. Under the Endurance Special I have not invested much points for this. Under Charisma Special. Cap collector is good for trading prices. I have local leader level 2 for settlement purposes. Allows resources to be available at all settlements and you can create stores for trading and making money. Under Intelligence Special. I have invested in Gun Nut to be able to make mods to my guns. I have invested in hacker to hack terminals. Scrapper is a good perk for scrapping junk. gives you more resources each time. Science is another Perk that allows for modding of weapons like the laser weapons. Under Agility Special. I have not invested much in this Special either. Under Luck Special. Scrounger is a good perk in a sense that you find more ammo when looting the wasteland. Tips: A few pointers that I have mentioned else where, there is a limited amount of resources available at each settlement. Yes there is a lot of steel and wood available at Sanctuary, but it eventually runs out when you have supply lines setup to other settlements. Supply lines allow you to share resources between your settlements. Some settlements don't have much resources sitting around. This is why supply lines work well. When you have collected junk and you go back to your base, don't store it in your workshop. you are better off dropping it on the floor at the settlement and then going into the workshop menu and scrapping items. you get more resources when you do this, instead of storing it in your workshop and then modifying your gun or armor.
  8. LOLS. I see we have similar strategies. I think we need to create a new thread about Fallout 4 and discuss strategies in there. We are sidetracking off the OP question here.
  9. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTE That is the whole point of the freggin game. I am not sure if you played the previous titles, but I played all of them except vagas. Didn't even know it came out. Anyways, you do what you want in the game. I have clocked up 38 hours of the game already. I do a lot and I mean alot of runs to hoard crap. When you hoard stuff and take it back to your main settlement, just don't store it in the workshop. You get more resources if you drop all your junk and scrap it using the workshop menu. I learnt that they hard way as I kept just dumping the stuff in the workshop and then modifying my weapons and stuff. By just modifying your weapons and not scrapping the junk, you get less resources. Anyways, I have spent a lot of time building up my settlement and you run out of resources quick, hence the reason for hoarding session on my behalf. you can carry on with your main missions or side missions as well. Just keep in mind that some missions have expiry dates and you can fail to complete the main story line quests. Doing hoarding raids means you don't level up as fast and the game play can get boring, but it is easy to get back into your missions. I have not been using my power armour suit as I have been saving up the fusion cores for later in the game. if you do happen to run out of fusion cores in the field. get out of the armour. take the core out and store it in your NPC inventory. Then get back into the suit and fast travel to any of your settlements, Glitch?????

    Windows 10

Since windows 10 uses directX 12, games are running faster. you get more of the oooohhhhhs and ahhhhhhhhhs. I have played Fallout 4, battlefield 4, battlefront(Star Wars) without any issues. This shouldn't be stopping you and keep in mind that we only have a year to upgrade to windows 10 for free. Time is ticking and it is almost half way through this 1 year period. The only thing I hate about windows 10 is the start menu. it has the tablet view with the tiles and sh*t. Here is a good article about customizing the menu http://www.howtogeek.com/197836/8-ways-to-customize-the-windows-10-start-menu/ Just keep in mind that I hardly use the start menu anymore. I create icons on the desktop for the most used applications, that way I avoid the start menu all together.
  11. I don't know about being owned. I am old and forgetfully. I am lazy and can't be stuffed going back to look for previous threads. Guess who his personal mechanic is????? No more work for you until you apologize....
  12. Went to Monsta Torque and they were busy as hell. They fully booked till mid january. No measurements sorry.
  13. hahahaha gold. Make the offer to Phil and see if he bites.
  14. Not worth selling at this point. My car is insured for 32k but market dictates that I would most probably only get 22-24k for it. why sell if I am gonna lose money? Ohh and I got a sedan and not a ute. I am sure that Phil is having enough trouble getting his ute over the pits, that he might give up and try and sell it. Keep hounding Phil.
  15. Don't get me wrong, I am not being a wanker, but not more than a few days ago, the same thing was asked. See the top right of the forum there is a search tool. Give that a whiz mate as I am sure it will find the answer to your question. Hope you stay around long enough to join in the fun and attend a cruise at some stage, once you got your ride.
  16. all the way up to 210km/h aint dat right Don???
  17. no f*cken idea man. Like I said, it is just sitting there not being used. It was plugged in and turned on maybe 5 times? I smashed out 2k for the thing, but I know I am not going to get that back. So what ever is a fair offer that will help towards my exhaust setup will be considered. Make an offer via PM. Just keep in mind that I am in Perth. I might consider making a trip to Adelaide for a free tune with valve springs and exhaust????
  18. I currently have a boat anchor for sale as it is not being used. Practically brand new with cover over it. Yes it does work and I am happy to do a demo......... with Eminem music.... no death metal allowed in the house though.
  19. Banto, Welcome to the forum. I notice that you have been on here for 5 months. I don't mean to be a wanker, but this question has been asked few times. See at the top right, there is a search function. Type in "Turbo oil feed" and give that a whiz and see what results come up. What you really are looking for though, is this thread http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/32461-turbo-oil-supply-screen-cleaning/page-1 Have a read of all 12 pages as it will answer your question. Earls filter is the most popular choice.
  20. not many people have FG sedans in manual. I got an FG 2011 sedan in manual and I don't have tailshaft handy. mine is in the car. However the prospects of me getting under the car soon to measure, might be slim unfortunately. If I happen to drop by Monsta torque tomorrow, I will ask if they can lift the car to take measurements.
  21. and of coarse, the pics have been removed........
  22. So this would have been many moons ago, but well worth the waiting and saving up. took me a good year and bit to save up for. I also bought it in stages. I got my gear from west coast hifi as I knew someone there that gave me good pricing. I did try simple audio systems at home, but they were a waste of money. I have had this for over 7 years now and still going strong. I got this as my amp. It was between the denom, Harmie and Yamaha. Yamaha RX2700 won. And I paired it up with these puppies (B&W 683) But the colour is more along the lines of this(these are a different model) I have had damage to the center speaker due to my kids, but the damage has not stopped it from working Finally, I got these shelf speakers as the rear speakers (685) You all thinking about the sub now aren't you? To be honest, I do have a sub, but I hardly ever use it. the floor standing 683 have amazing bass already. Sunfire 10" I doubt I will need to upgrade any time soon and most people are blown away at how loud they go. I could be the neighbor from hell if I wanted to, but I don't normally have the sound blasting away due to the windows. I enjoy the quality in comparison to things like sound bar. I had my father in law over previously and the first thing he said was: Why doesn't my sound bar sound like this................... hmmm I wonder why?
