  1. and enjoy your stay. I believe that no one has replied as this question has been asked a few times. At the top right, there is an option to do a forum search. Give that a go and see what results come up. Have a look in this section of the forum for more info http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/forum/33-xr6-turbo/ If you plan on keeping the standard FG snail, just remember that not all cars will hit the 330rwkw mark It is different for every car. My car for example hit 310rwkw. Others have hit 320rwkw. If you really want 330rwkw or more, then you may need to change the turbo. A decent inter cooler is required. there have been a few wars about which inter cooler to get, but that is down to personal preference. The Johnny Tig cooler seems to be the new trend. Decent size Injectors like the ID1000 is preferable to tuners to tune. not to say that smaller injectors wont do the job. Some cars require the valve springs to be done. you will only find out at the time of the tune, so save an extra $1200 if you are in WA. There are a few other things to be done, but I will let you do the research.
  2. so why not just drop the plug on the floor to reduce the "gap" like some other forum members??
  3. I am no mechanic, so I am asking this to get a better understanding. The spark plug in the pic looks fine to me. What is wrong with it? What do you guys see that I don't? Is it the gap that is to big?
  4. Just out of curiosity, whenever I change the oil and oil filter, I sometimes clean out the Earls filter as well. As part of my service routine, when I finish the service, I make sure that I have WOT and then crank the key over for ten seconds. This makes sure that oil is going to the turbo. Will this also fill the oil filter while this is happening?
  5. Luke, that is why I thought it was valve springs, due to that line in Italic. It's gonna be a pain in the ass to get done, may as well upgrade a few other parts, if you got plans to upgrade and get the valve springs done to.
  6. so you not running just diesel in the tank. you mix it in with what you have. Never knew it would clean the fuel lines and injectors. What about the fuel filter. how is that going to cope with Diesel?
  7. Please take this with a grain of salt, I am no expert, but I think this may be the valve springs mate. Can Luke please tune in and advise?
  8. I am too old for this sh*t. I am level 31 now. Strategy for me is shoot with rifle from a distance for as long as possible and then change to terminator gun. It is then spray and pray.
  9. I have applied this Technic to bigger super mutants, eg at Fort Strong. The huge mutant there is hard to kill especially when he is throwing those big boulders. If you try and fight him at close range, good luck. What I did is I used a sniper rifle to attract the attention of the normal mutants from the other side of the bridge. I hid behind the bridge pillars and as soon as they were walking on the bridge, I just sniped them out. This was while hiding from the big mutant behind the pillar so he could not get me. I must admit that I have not seen a sentry yet, but I am sure that one of my 5 quests left, will direct me in that direction sooner or later. The NPC of choice lately has been Currie. http://www.gosunoob.com/fallout-4/curie-companion/ I have gone through the quests to get her into a synth body. I then did a whole bunch of wasteland wondering and she leveled up few times and I got to flirt with her as well. Got some sort of lover perk where she sleeps with you when you lay down in a bed. At this point she makes sure that your stimp packs provide more health than normal, so I can't complain about that. I am however now tempted to swap her out for Piper from Diamond city.
  10. I have no idea mate, but when you do happen to find out, let us know please.
  11. Good stuff mate. Alot of that stuff I knew, but have forgotten to mention. I saved this just for you guys. instead of getting it from the other locations, I decided to upload it to my IMGUR account I have printed this out on A3 for myself today and will be using it to mark of places I have been to and to check for magazines + bobble heads. http://imgur.com/mKkPXSZ Quick mention in regards to the power suit, there will come a time where you can mod it and have increased capacity for carrying stuff. I heard something along the lines of having pockets in the outside lining for more capacity. However I do not see the point to this if you have Strong Back, which is under the Strength Special at Level 6(as per chart below) you can fast travel when you are carrying to much. I have all 4 starts on the strong back and it is a pain when you have too much, but as soon as you are out of a building or secluded area and you can fast travel, booom you can empty your inventory out. http://imgur.com/sMihDzz In regards to power runs and knocking enemies over, if you have a look at the chart above and look at Strength level 10, you will see that perk. However your strength special needs 10 stars to it. Is that worth it? Thanks for the tip about not running out of air when using the power armor and under water. didn't know that one. The last two sessions I have been using the power armor everywhere. From 17 cores, I am down to 13 and I ain't liking this fact. I have built a bobble head stand at Sanctuary to store my bobble heads. now I got to figure out how to store my magazines.
  12. Yes I have taken the car to the AHG coarse. We did the performance and tuning day sessions, remember?????????
  13. hahahaha fark you guys made me giggle like a little school girl. There are guns everywhere mate. you don't even need a gun, you can use a baseball bat or knife. The catch is that you have to pick up the item. on the PC you press E to pickup items which end up in your inventory. you need to press I to view your inventory in your pip boy. you then click on the item under weapons and choose what weapon to equip. for first time players, it is hard to understand where to equip items. Same thing applies for NPC. If you trade with them and give them sh*t to carry(especially when you have to much) it frees your inventory and fills theirs. So really you have to inventories that you can use to hoard sh*t. At the same time, while you in that screen giving the NPC stuff, you can actually use T to make the NPC equip the Armour or weapons. Comes in handy when you give your NPC good clothing to protect them and also good weapons to kill enemies with. Note a bit of warning to you guys, don't go crazy like me and have 17 settlements. They are worse than babies and always need to be maintained. If you leave your settler beacon on, you will attract a lot of people sometimes. you need resources to make beds and provide food and water. Before taking on a settlement and putting up a settlers beacon, check your resources first.
  14. are you being serious and ran diesel, or you just kidding as I can't tell? common sense to me would say that you f*cking around and never run diesel in the tank. why would you put diesel in the tank?
  15. Shockworks mate. You can keep the same ride height if you want. I got my car lowered to 350mm from hub to arch. The handling of the car is sooooooooooooooooooo much better. I always reverse my car into parking spots. so I don't have to worry about the under guard scrapping. Oh and it makes for quick getaways from a bank robbery. Yes my cat has scraped a few times going onto kerbs, but that is about it. I try and avoid parking on center kerbs in the neighborhood now.
  16. So Tim, when are you going to track your car mate?
  17. I had this issue as well and after the tune, the fans run while the car is on and turn off when the car turns off. I have had them come on once, but that was after some spirited driving to Ellenbrook. I drove slow in the neighborhood till I got home. I thought this was enough time for the car to cool down, but apparently not. Anyways, you can replace the thermostat with a new one, but I reckon you will still have the same issue. The guys at Monsta torque put in a lower temperature activated thermostat and adjusted the tune. The stock Thermostat activates at something like 90 degrees and the one they put in activates at 82 degrees I think. Made quite the difference.
  18. If you are having problems with putting quotes or smiley into a post, enable compatibility mode for IE and that should fix your problem. In regards to updating the sat nav, I thought I read over on AFF that "whereis maps" are used to update the satnav. I can't remember exactly, but Fraud wants an absurd amount and that most people would just get the update from whereis at half the price. I don't have sat nav so I can't verify that this is true. http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11391407 http://www.fordforums.com.au/showpost.php?p=4992861&postcount=105 https://www.navshop.com.au/cars/ford.html This verifies what I said above, but doesn't provide a link to where you can buy the updates though. http://gps.cheapertracks.com/Ford.htm Maybe???
  19. I would have wrapped that towel around his neck and then attached it to his wheel.
  20. I suspect that there aren't many replies yet cause this has been asked a few times. Most people would advise to use the search function at the top right, as it should answer your questions if you do a search. Here is a thread that discussed the PWR cooler. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/91331-pwr-intercooler/#entry1573146 I hope you stick around to go on a cruise and create a thread about your ride. Enjoy your stay and please don't do a runner.
  21. How come I keep getting an error message that the server is too busy? What does that mean? Is the server busy with a pron video upload that it can't attend to other requests?
  22. Is that still using the vivo smart?
  23. Is training provided as well? Electrical or mechanical type of job is what I would like to change to.... I AM OVER "IT"
  24. fark, I can't believe that both you and Peter are having this issue. The other day in the dry I took off a bit hard and had a knock or two before she gripped and then just took off. I don't like burnouts and avoid it as much, so it could be why I haven't noticed if I have the knock or not. Is this happening in the dry and wet? Can I make a suggestion though? Try and turn off traction control and see if it still does the same noise or not?
  25. ^^^^^ mine is hardly noticeable until I run low on fuel and then I know I got no fuel in the tank. The only fuel left will be in the surge tank, but I hardly ever reach those levels. Happened 2 or 3 times ever, but at least now I know why it gets noisy.
